You mean the bit where Kerr kicks the ball errantly into the middle of the ground and Jones crashes into Barry, wins the contested loose ball and dishes off a handball under pressure

That play?

Love watching it, the shudders that kerr kick gives me every time, how badly that could have gone, all hail Rojo for saving our arse in that contest.

The 2018 version where I shudder with a vision of Yeo's last kick getting smothered by Varcoe...

34 players named to play.

Ginbey (toe), Naitanui (managed), Shuey (managed), Darling (ankle), Barnett (ankle), Jones (unknown), Bazzo (load management I guess), JWilliams (spleen), Baker (unknown) and Dewar (foot) those not playing.

So pretty much everyone gets an outing, except for those mentioned. Too bad we don't get to see Ginbey, but Chesser and Hewett amongst others will make up for it. This should be a 'very interesting' hit out with last years debacle in mind, we'll obviously get a preview of how far we've progressed and changed.
It's a lot of playing time and a lot of players rolling through, hopefully watch it on Kayo?

Shame that Ginbey isn't playing - was really looking forward to seeing what he could do against an afl midfield.

Anyone know if Nelson will be unleashed?

From the WCE team announcement

The Eagles and Power will play four quarters of match simulation before two further periods where a number of WAFL Eagles will be rotated into the action

I expect the above means Nelson will likely get a trundle late

Ginbey should cut his toe off. Nathan Broad lost a couple inches of his schlong in a footy accident and went on to be three time premiership player

Cats looking very good, GC just OK but a few not on the field while the Bombers are looking average.

Normally would spew about a premiership side picking Henry, Bruhn and Bowes.

Same with the Tiggers.

However, with Freo being in the window, sa la vie!

100% Agree!

When two of the Non Victorian “contenders” are Fremantle and Port, then I would gladly accept another VIC flag 😂
Brisbane and Sydney are in with a shot. Slim pickings for the Non Victorians right now.
