Brisbane Lions are going to be the powerhouse this season. Can see them going top. Don't see them losing much.
Quality side last season and adding in Dunkley and Gunston with Ashcroft have improved them.

I don't think anyone has a list with that much depth to beat them now.

I think the strengths everywhere else gives them cover.

Given that it's a more and more midfield game, what they had and what they've added will make them hard to beat through the middle. If they can provide pressure down back and pressure on the ball through the middle then they've got most teams covered.

They won't win every match, but they shouldn't lose many.

Caveat...
Any team could suffer a Covid, injury run like we did in 2022. And No-one can cover that.

Port have wasted every year since 2015. When they did have unbelievably great chances in 2020 & 21 they choked so, so hard.
I'd be livid if I supported them too.
