Brisbane Lions are going to be the powerhouse this season. Can see them going top. Don't see them losing much.
Quality side last season and adding in Dunkley and Gunston with Ashcroft have improved them.

I don't think anyone has a list with that much depth to beat them now.

Lions looked great against a Geelong side without any marking targets up forward. Cats were also missing their best "extra" defender in Duncan, best one-on-one defender in J.Henry and best off-the-ball mover in Smith. They were a shadow of the team the took the premiership last year and played as such.

Brisbane did well in the offseason, turning an area of weakness into one of strength. They should be aiming for top 4 most certainly.

Still have question marks how they are going to fare against sides with multiple quality key forwards however, particularly with Adams ruled out.


Brisbane lost 8 matches last year. Half of those were when Andrews failed to get 10 disposals or was missing (including the Preliminary Final).

Theyve tried to fill that outside accumulator a few ways over the years and failed, that tall from gws they got a few years ago was useless
Hunter could be an AA wing this year.
