Ok, this is going to be a weird post. I also figure this thread is as good as any to put it.

It’s been a long off season on the Adelaide board, and it’s gotten to the point where the preseason thread has become about favourite bakeries (Adelaide is full of great bakeries).

I’ve lived in Perth for more than a decade, and the only decent pasties I’ve managed to find in WA are at the Rottnest bakery and the Dunsborough bakery. Obviously not readily accessible to fulfil an attack of the munchies.

Can you guys please direct a homesick South Australian to a decent metropolitan bakery in Perth? Preferably western suburb direction.

Pies and pasties from Rottnest Island bakery can be purchased at IGA. At least, the one in Wembley...

Edit 1. Make sure you get in before the tradie rush at lunchtime.
Edit 2: It's pa-sties, not par-sties.

Sweets or savoury? Not all bakeries are created equal ...

Not western suburbs but Grain Bakery in Lathlain is amazing.

If you want a tasty sandwich made with fresh baked bread, Mr Sandwich in West Perth is also quality.

I was going to say the Miami Bakehouse in Melville, but looks like that's permanently shut now

Some good suggestions there for you

I live 1km from Grain Bakery and have never heard of it. I think I'll go check it out this weekend.
