Could not agree more with this statement. While we are off topic, this reminded me of a pineapple on pizza tale from the early 90's.

I was living in the US at the time going to school and the adults in the family I was living with were originally from Brooklyn and of Italian heritage. Food was a big topic of discussion in this household and I mentioned that at "home" we had this hideous pizza with pineapple on it. I nearly got in a blue with his bloke because he didnt believe anyone, anywhere on Earth would do such a thing. Funny stuff.

As it was pre internet days the outcome was I had to ring home and get my parents to mail me the local pizza shop menu. 2 weeks later I astounded him with this discovery.

Funnily enough now you do find pineapple on pizzas in the US...guess we were ahead of our time..

Anyway, how about the commentary and media?

A real shame. I loved North Talk. Just bad timing for Ross and co. that it coincided with one the club’s most unsuccessful periods in the last 50 years. You could hear the strain in their voices at times trying to remain positive about the content.

It’s kind of our thing.
We do traditional Neapolitan wood-fired pizza, but we also have the topping options for ‘Baz & Shaz.’
Ham & Pineapple is on there, as well as a barbecue chicken. It’s friggen legit though. We pit our own olives, make our sauce from scratch, cut all the cheese, make our own salami & for Baz & Shaz we’ve decided to shave our pineapple to 3mm, which works best for the style of pizza & that 2 minute cooking time in those 400 degree ovens.

@onesneakycheetah for anyone that lives here or is coming over to Gather Round. Only been running for 15 months, but store 3 will be open in September & after we open 5 here, Melbourne is next (it’s my secret way to move back…).
