Hope we contest it. Arguable re how much contact was actually with the head - hard to tell from the angles I've seen. You could also make an argument he was contesting the ball. Always looks worse in slow mo but at the time I thought he just over-ran the ball then braced for impact a split second later.

I also hope we contest it because I still have nightmares of Bonar vs Harry McKay ...

I haven’t seen the Log incident but going by the list it seems pretty consistent re the offences . In saying that I am sure our one is soft as butter. Didn’t last yrs Brownlow medallist run passed someone smashed him got 2 then got off as they knew he would be close to winning. All above board The AFL lol

Seen it now . You are able to still bump , but if you injure the player you pay the price. Going by that it was a fair bump no head contact player got up , no case to answer. Fk u Christian u piece of ?$;:

Like clockwork
Every year, we start the season and where we are weak, then comes the injuries, concussion protocols and suspension.

LDU and Simpkin.

McKay and Logue.

Pretty sure last year, Zurhaar and McKay had concussion weeks off and I doubt their opponents had anything to answer for.

To be fair, Cam Zurhaar concussed himself trying to tackle. You don't give a guy weeks for that, there was no dangerous action.

Breaking it down it actually looks like Logue is making an attempt to somewhat grab the ball - it’s just that Days technique is SO BAD coming on to logues momentum that day didn’t brace for contact therefore gets hit.

This is almost the same as Cam Zurhaar concussing himself going for a tackle a while back. Logue was clearly going for the ball, didn't take his eyes off it, then stiffened up because he could see something coming in his peripheral vision.
