Talk is cheap. It might be true right now but things change including another player taking your spot cause they win it.Very interesting. Could it just be a tactic to motivate Lance?
It's probably a bit of both, motivating Lance (or Sam

Probably, Shanahan said the same thing.Very interesting. Could it just be a tactic to motivate Lance?
They'll probably try to make him look exceptionally good in the preseason and try to get two 1sts back for him?If the 9ers want to keep him we have enough flexibility with franchise tag, increasing salary cap and a few other big contracts coming to an end.
But if the offer is too good to refuse.....

It's a question to AJ_2000's "an offer too good to refuse". What would that be for him?2 firsts? in what world GG, IN WHAT WORLD

Exactly, well said. It's a tricky one because talent and utilization by a much better offensive coach/qb would make those teams value him more that the Niners could puah for more compensation. But on pure numbers, the Niners can't ask for more than a 2nd.Id have though 1 mid to late first round pick is more than enough. Teams aren't going to give you a big return for a player coming off his rookie contract who's only had more than 1,000 yards receiving just once in four seasons. Having said all that, I think hes been very under-utilised by the Niners as mentioned many times and will probably be far better off elsewhere, thats why he could fetch a first. On numbers hes worth no more than a second.

A first for Aiyuk would be minimum to gain interest...but I doubt they would be on offer.
So if they did a trade and say got a first....they draft a WR in place who will be 2 years from being productive in this offense...and that doesn't even consider the bust factor.
Throw in a developing qb room and I'd say pass.
Titans and Moore and the subsequent trajectories are all I need to see as a lesson learnt.
Brown not Moore.
The point was you may not be able to afford to keep him and thats why you would trade him. If he makes it to free agency I hope the Panthers throw the sink at him with the s**t tone of cap space we'll have next offseason
