I know you're all angry but I don't feel enough attention is being paid to the term "Kick Accuracy Interference Technique". Who the **** coined this term? They deserve to be endlessly mocked.

Why aren't we using this ground-breaking technique whereby accuracy of kicks can be affected while the ball is in the air by a late double forearm to the kicker's head?
They have a patent, we can't steal their IP.

I did ask if it had been patented or if we could all use it now on the MB thread about it.

After a relatively short deliberation, Tribunal chairman Gleeson sided with Lynch, saying he did not bump or engage in rough conduct.

"We find that Lynch intended to fly for the mark, realised he had misjudged it, saw a Bulldogs player in his peripheral vision and rotated and braced for contact.

"Lynch did not have clenched fists, did not follow through with force and tends to pull his body in in a way consistent with a brace for contact and not a bump."

... All a great story, except he doesn't play the football. Strange.

Changing a couple of words:

"We find that Logue intended to gather the ball, realised he had misjudged it, saw a Hawks player in his peripheral vision and rotated and braced for contact.

"Logue did not have clenched fists, did not follow through with force and tends to pull his body in in a way consistent with a brace for contact and not a bump."

We don’t use precedent to adjudicate incidents but let’s use the Rhys Mathieson incident as a precedent LOL!

That whole tribunal case was a farce. Gleeson pretty much led the defence for McKay as the original Carlton defence was so laughable he needed to bail them out.

The thing that stinks about this competition is the AFL pretty much does this in plain sight and makes up rules so they cant be held accountable for being a bunch of cheats and liars.

If they are prepared to go to these lengths and ignore their own rules, you dont have to stretch too far to know they are most likely attempting to engineer outcomes of games through the shitshow that is their umpiring.

It was amazing that when the game was in the balance that the umpires went their hardest to gift Carlton goals and halt our attacking opportunities by ignoring frees to our mids that were being a scragged or held and then the cherry was the Stevo ran too far call when we were surging it inside 50.

Here's a classic Kick Accuracy Interference Technique from Barry Hall in 2008.

Staker didn't have a single accurate kick, or any kick at all, for the rest of the game - or the next game either!

Good old Barry. The media treats him as one of the game's characters. A lovable rogue.

My recollection is that he preferred to the bloke to be looking in the other direction.
