Just rewatched the last quarter. Noble and Beau was immense.

Crisp and Ruscoe had some very important moments.

Sidey was there from the opening bounce winning one on one contests and playing his heart out. Markov really stood up under intense pressure and Ruscoe showed he is able to step up under high pressure. Wonderful depth players. Even Kelly did everything right when he came on. When I think of how many goals we handed them on a plate with skill errors or free kicks it makes our win with an undermanned team all the more remarkable. Too see that big lug miss after the softest charity free was simply delicious. And the Beau wraps it up with another knife through the heart after the siren. Was it all a dream?

McCreery was huge for us.

Kelly's kick to Bobby that led to Nick's second goal was absolutely magnificent.

McRae pasting together attack, defence and rucks out of spare parts. I thought Scott outcoached him for at least a half, maybe more but he still did OK.

Sitting there watching us, particularly in that 3rd quarter, you wouldn't have imagined that last quarter blitz. Then again we are the comeback kings, so shouldn't have doubted us to blow Essendoom away in 30 mins of footy.....absolutely brilliant!!!....

The day in totality was brilliant, with beautiful weather, fantastic pre game ceremony, with the national anthems of both Aus and NZ sung brilliantly, had goosebumps....

Then to see that quality of game, particularly in the second half, was a fantastic way to honour the day for all those who have and are currently serving. The icing on the cake for me was the Moore speech after the game. To have this fantastic athlete and person captaining our club, you couldn't be prouder.

Naicos getting the medal, the legend continues. He broke the game apart with his two last quarter goals. I think he may just win everything this year, in his 2nd year!!

, thank god we have Billy. He has been a revelation, in any position he plays. Whether its down back, ruck and showed today he can also play forward. He has been a terrific addition. Hope Kane Cornes gives him an apology during the week.....

Great to see Crisp and Quaynor regain some form. NDaicos simply sublime. Mitchell was great. Moore and DeGoey too.

Hill, Checkers and Jaicos quiet but that’s just a hiccup. Elliott’s the biggest worry. Hopefully he clicks soon.

Even when we were way down at 3qt, I mentioned to my mate that I still had a strangely quiet calm. Dons burnt their petty tickets by 3qt. We have the best fitness in the league RN. As long as we can weather the storm and stay in touch we are every chance in EVERY game.

Pies smashing it on and off field. Props to Wrighty and the crew. Fitness team killing it. Got us set up for sustained success.

Massively undermanned in defence and ruck and we are 5-1 FFS. !
