Sitting there watching us, particularly in that 3rd quarter, you wouldn't have imagined that last quarter blitz. Then again we are the comeback kings, so shouldn't have doubted us to blow Essendoom away in 30 mins of footy.....absolutely brilliant!!!....

The day in totality was brilliant, with beautiful weather, fantastic pre game ceremony, with the national anthems of both Aus and NZ sung brilliantly, had goosebumps....

Then to see that quality of game, particularly in the second half, was a fantastic way to honour the day for all those who have and are currently serving. The icing on the cake for me was the Moore speech after the game. To have this fantastic athlete and person captaining our club, you couldn't be prouder.

Naicos getting the medal, the legend continues. He broke the game apart with his two last quarter goals. I think he may just win everything this year, in his 2nd year!!

Shoutout to Billy Frampton, thank god we have Billy. He has been a revelation, in any position he plays. Whether its down back, ruck and showed today he can also play forward. He has been a terrific addition. Hope Kane Cornes gives him an apology during the week.....

Brilliantly summarised the most epic ANZAC Day clash imo since it's inception 💪

I thought after last season that our fitness team was our secret weapon.
I saw some footage that the superstar Jen posted from last pre season….the stuff the players were doing just blew my mind.

Nothing we did was the same as previous years….proof is there that it works.

I just want to acknowledge the following players who have come into the side as the injury toll increased over the past few weeks;

Markov, Frampton, Ruscoe, Kruger & Kelly.

These bloke don't stand up & play their role, we don't win.

But apparently, we don't have depth - like hell we don't!!!

First game back for Krueger after he played just one vfl game and then fell sick. Played his role crashing and bashing, clearly his skills were rusty. I suspect he was always earmarked to be the player subbed out given his lack of match fitness.
Utter garbage, I don't recall anyone producing worst performance than Kreuger in yonks.

He was subbed out a minute after I yelled out "delist right ****en now"

Your failure to accept that Ruscoe performed well ahead of expectations, clearly vindicates the view that only perfection would have sufficed.
Simple really.
Thought ruscoe was great.
Everyone loses contests.
But he won more than he lost and his disposal was good.

If he’s the 26-28 player coming in…..we’re in good shape.

Here is a big question…..does he keep his place over IQ next week?

Sorry - but for his first game the positives far outweighed the huge negatives critics proffered before the game.
His kick to Ginni showed amazing composure under the huge pressure at that point in the game.
He had 100% DE, 7 marks - 2 contested.
A much better game than the critics could have expected.
Your goal of first up perfection, is a completely unrealistic standard.
You should expect 100% DE when only one of his disposals went further than 20m. Ruscoe had a good last quarter and kudos to him. However, in the 1st two quarters he was poor

We have only played one of the bottom nine teams so far.
Yeah! Geelong were allowed to play themselves back into form by playing Hawthorn & WC in successive weeks.
We haven't played any teams yet to pad out our percentage.
Just wait until we play WC, North & the dirty undies!

He was subbed out after dropping that absolute sitter. I can't see him playing next week with Murphy coming back in. Will Kelly has done enough to stay as a sub.
