Surely the AFL will laugh at us after being premiers 5 years ago.

Maybe they'd say yes if we had a fully fit list and still got flogged.

Or maybe instead of a priority pick they'll let us increase the soft cap to hire a medical team capable of keeping players on the park (or in the case of Shuey, Darling, Ryan etc off the park if they already ****ing injured themselves)

Ok, so Hawthorn are very similar to us, they've lost all their senior players the last couple of seasons (retirement and trading), we've lost ours to injuries and retirement, so we've both been blooding, training and developing young players across the past couple of seasons and we're both fielding young teams today, yet they're smashing us by over 50 points. Sam Mitchell>Adam Simpson. I think we need a new coach.

Edwards has 30 games experience playing in a train wreck of a side. On any qualitative measure I currently think Harry is a better prospect than Bazzo. Better over head, better ball, higher is substantially better etc...

If anything I think the media and certainly the club are underselling how bad things are.

This is not just about injuries or development or whatever, It is not ******* normal to get beaten by 15+ goals by the other worst team in the competition. You have to go back to post draft sanction carlton, pre fold fitzroy to find a team as bad as west coast are right now.

This isn't Witherden,Petruccelle, Xon, Williams, Foley, Clark, West, Hough, Edwards, Jamieson etc toiling against an experienced match hardened opposition. This is them playing a similarly young group getting exposed for what they are- ******* terrible WAFL grade players who don't belong on an AFL list.

Yup they are just not improving and taking there opportunities.the talent and development of players at the club is very poor

.. you have seen the injury list, right? 2200 games worth if injuries. We have literally 26 fit players.

We all know the injury crisis blah blah which is now 2-3 years excuse for simpson.

We see players that have been playing for long enough to hit up a 30 metre kick whilst under no pressure and miss the target like oneil did. Hes not a kid.
Or the waterman kick 15 metres that went directly to a hawthorn player and conner west literally following a player around and making zero attempt to tackle him.
Not to mention gaffs poor kicking.

We are currently at 33 pwrcent kicking efficiency in this quarter.

Basic skills and attitude arent unique to 100+ game players.

The rot is on our more experienced players who are leading the way for our younger players to follow suit.

All of this is on the coach.

Clubs arent around to make money, they are around to win games of football and nobody can even predict when we might be a chance to win one game let alone begin to move up the ladder again.

How are we this much worse than then next worse team? I haven't seen a gulf between the worst like this since GWS and Gold Coasts first seasons.

Our team is essentially filled with kids but instead of them all being top 20 picks they are all late picks or wafl quality.

Hawthorn aren’t far off full strength based on their injury list though
It’s no surprise that we were last competitive in R1,2 and for half of R3 before the injuries struck …

For a change it’s actually working perfectly for me. Minimal delay compared to live (I’m usually anywhere from 30s to 3 min behind ) and not a single buffering episode

I'm expecting AFL to approach us this week to ask us how many PPs we need so we won't embarrass the code again in such a manner.

This is Gaffs last year, has to be. Guy can't adapt to the new plan, can't kick at all and only value is running and even then it's at half pace.
I'd rather have us keep Hurn for another year and have Boots and Gaff retire this year.

Given hindsight i'd have kept Redden on and let Gaff go.

1. Someone on the medical team is suffering Munchausen by Proxy syndrome and they're secretly assaulting our players?
2. The entire club hasn't developed some sort of collective BDSM fetish and we're just absolutely into submission?
