Simply diabolical from West Coast today.

I'm not sure Western Australia can support two AFL clubs.

How long is the AFL going to keep propping up the Eagles?
$20 million in the bank, and a waiting list for new members, no one’s dumping their membership while they’re crap because they’ll have to wait a decade to get back on as a member.

Think they can support themselves over the next 5 years.

Oh and btw, they’ll be worse next year.

If the AFL stopped supporting clubs tomorrow pretty sure west coast and Collingwood would be the only viable teams lol

I think he was being facetious.

Harley Reid has already pulled the “I’m very close to my family” card when asked about being drafted interstate.

WC will be auctioning off pick 1.

Dev, Prior, Rich and Adam Oxley for pick 1

I don’t know how Carlton are going to get out of this funk. Cripps best years are behind him now and the rest of the list outside a few is very ordinary.

And when guys like Saad don’t show up it looks diabolical out there.

Harley Reid in an interview this week when asked > what are your thoughts on an interstate move?

A- Well I am a country boy and I am very close to my family.

Not the standard I am happy to play AFL anywhere reply.
Well I’m just 2 hours late to this conversation aren’t I.

If this happens it would be beyond sweet. But also a lot of Lions fan sent to hospital with heart attacks. o_O

However, Squiggle says Flag Pole is a better way of predicting premiers, so no need to get too excited yet.
That bounces around a lot - only earlier today it was the same GF matchup but it was us 80 and them 81 (which would have been equally heart attack worthy but far more heart ripping!)

I thought I'd heard he was happy to play anywhere but couldn't tell you where. Hope that is the case. There's a significant issue that needs to be addressed if teams can't confidently draft the best kid available regardless of the state they or he reside.
His manager released a statement to that effect about 2 hours after Reid said he wants to stay home.

I was more anticipating a rogue WC supporter responding to that, but I'll take what I can get.

Can you make your jokes simpler for simpletons like me next time pls

Yes.

Only one thing better than belting Collingwood in a Grand Final > beating them by 1 point in a Grand Final. 2002-03 came pretty close to matching both of them.:D:hearts:

However losing to Collingwood by 1 point in a Grand Final would be an horrific nightmare come true.

Mate, we’ll be lucky to get the two second round picks they currently hold when Dev, Prior, Tunstill and Lane all ask to be traded to WC at the end of the season.

But Adam Oxley is a Queenslander

Nah they're desperate for experienced bodies to fast track their rebuild

And need home grown talent as well. They don't have an academy like we do

I still haven't gotten over losing a First Semi to them by one point.
