My concern with the Bomber logo is that it's just a little outdated in the way it depicts current-day usage of the term. Sure, the bombers of yesteryear share similar traits to the bombers of today in their ability to kill indiscriminately. But to best visualize what we now refer to as a bomber, surely Essendon should use a silhouette image of the twin towers and a plane crashing into the side.

I didn't go to the game last year and I think prior to that was covid lockouts so not exactly sure when they stopped the air raid siren. But it was pretty disgraceful the way they celebrated their team entering the field with the sound that signified death and destruction for hundreds of thousands of people during World War 2. Like, a clear indication that this is a club and a supporter base with no moral compass.
