Is this still going ahead as l see this was a 2021 report, and l thought the bowls club were dead set against moving.
Just curious as l love all the old home grounds that clubs had…more soul than marvel.
What’s the go with the hanger, isn’t it in danger of being compulsory acquired by Melbourne Airports redevelopment. Also didn‘t your fan base stump up the cost of building the hanger? If the above exp goes forward seems like wasted investment.

We’ve started the ground upgrade (stage 1) this year, but I’m not sure about the subsequent phases - yes the bowls part was surprising given that was the reason we moved.

As for the airport, when this news came out earlier in the year it was clarified that the area we are on was not in any plans to redevelop (I guess they wouldn’t have to reaquire as it belongs to them but they would need to break our lease). Urban surf would be in the same predicament I would assume.
