Said the serious person...

I’m a serious person when it’s time to be serious, which admittedly is never

Joey easily my favourite pundit even leaving aside that he is not a total campaigner towards us. Mostly because he isn't surface level dribble like most of them.

Seriously, how hard is it to watch 9 games of football with purpose if that's literally your job
Spot on Joao. For most of the “expert commentators “ it’s pure laziness and lack of professionalism. They think “I know the game, I don’t have to do any research “ And then give us “Amiss is a bit of a slow burn”. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Glad Dicko asked that question to Montagna rather than the other Fox dribbler, King,
King would have been scathing in his reply.A Freo hater.
Just as an FYI it's all pre-planned. They all have their questions and answers set up before the show, it's just one of the three's responsibilities to ask another the question to set them up

FREMANTLE

Where has this been all season from Fremantle? Despite the daunting prospect of the AFL’s trickiest road trip, the out-of-form Dockers disarmed finals hopefuls Geelong at GMHBA Stadium then held on for their best win of the year. Geelong led by nine points early in the final quarter but two goals to Lachie Schultz and a Goal of the Year contender from Michael Frederick helped the Dockers snatch the lead at the 20-minute mark – and they desperately hung on from there. Often criticised for their slow, laborious ball movement, the Dockers played with dash, dare and preparedness to kick with imprecision. It paid dividends. Now the Dockers can use this win as a relaunch opportunity to set them up for 2024.

In the votes

Amid fierce criticism from the media, Alex Pearce pulled off one of the great skipper’s games. He kept Tom Hawkins to two goals from five touches – those goals often came when Geelong’s ball movement up the field was too hard for any defender to handle – but was just as impressive with ball in hand, finishing with 18 disposals and a career-high eight intercept marks as he matched it with Hawkins and Jeremy Cameron in genuine one-on-one contests. Luke Jackson, Caleb Serong and Andy Brayshaw were mighty in the middle, while Lachie Schultz and Sam Switkowski produced excellent pressure games while also hitting the scoreboard.

Room for improvement

Outside of a slow start where they were goalless in the first quarter, this was one of the most impressive Dockers performances of the season. Coach Justin Longmuir labelled it his side’s “first four-quarter performance for a while”, adding he was proud of his team’s willingness to consistently compete.

I must not read articles by Suma, I must not read articles by Suma, I must not read articles.....damn. He has an absolute pearler tonight in the West online....Highlights...Darcy to go to Geelong or Bombers unless he comes out and backs us in by signing for more years (how would Sam Draper feel), Shuey to be our midfield assistant coach and Henry with 4 and 5 year deals from other clubs. I want what Suma is on.

Shuey as our midfield coach would be excellent tbh

Meh, I personally have never given a single toss about West Coast.

He's a good player, based in WA and would be able to bring something to the table as a coach I'm sure, and has the added benefit of being from the modern game

But if him being an Eagle rules him out for Freo, irrespective of potential positives to Freo then we kind of deserve to be where we are aha

My favourite part is him saying we should trade Darcy because two gun rucks doesn't work, but that we should use the pick we get from Darcy to draft Mitch Edwards, a ruck.

How so Suma
Jackson's best games this season have been when Darcy was in the team though. Don't think we should be flicking Darcy so soon.
