Would have been poetic if she’d saved penalties to put them through, but this will do - have to think her performance during the game made the Americans more likely to try for too much in the shootout.

On goalies, love Naeher not only getting her hands to two of the penalties, but scoring one herself. Didn’t have as much work during the game, but gave it her all.
