Still stinking hot here, so my boy and I will probably be watching with just our boxer shorts and saints caps on.
When I hear about a wet final, it's hard to not think of a depressing finals match vs Melbourne when I thought we might win the lot.

Positive thinking week though, so I'll try to just remember our slog vs the Giants that we won early a year or 2 ago. Kind of shagged us for the next few weeks, but we got the job done.

Re: Dougal... I wish him the best, but personally I hope we play Zlugger Cordy over him. We have looked much more settled. He is ol' reliable.
Dougal is quite a good defender but something about those brain fades and direct turnovers that lead to an immediate goal seem to ruin momentum, and kill the confidence a bit.
With Cordy you know what you're getting.
Also hope Ross' calf comes up after training Thursday. He is integral to our midfield at the moment.
