really people, sounds like where getting into a high school social studies debate on the pros and cons of the using the bomb to end ww2.
It was a throwaway themeline to feed media crap , not a subject for serious moral discourse and debate.

Ken has done a pretty good job of making the supporters feel like occupants of Nanjing when the Japanese came through. Maybe that's what the WWII references are about.

Aside from the fairly obvious cultural insensitivity and moral ambiguity of the whole thing, is the idea that we’re standing on the shoulders of giants and this is a collective push encompassing the last 4 years really all that motivating?
