HUGE NEWS FROM BELL PARK
We have a big milestone game next weekend up at the Gabba.
Ken Hinkley will equal the mediocre coach Terry Wallace with 247 games coached without a Grand Final appearance.
Terry Wallace's coached games are over two stints, first with 148 games for the Bulldogs and then 99 games with the Richmond Tigers.
Ken has the distinction of coaching all of his games at the Port Adelaide, I mean, the Ken Hinkley Football Club.
Ken will hold that record solely for himself when the next final is played but if he wins, he will immediately go off that that list as the team would have made the Grand Final.
A big shout out to Kochie for allowing the slowest of car crashes to happen on his watch.
Better then my banner idea..Be it the week after or the prelim, such achievement needs be recognised on the banner!
Congrats to our Kenny
for after coaching 248 games
to still not reach a granny
Over to others for better banner messages than mine.
Playing finals is overrated. Home and away win/loss is where it's at. Kenny Hinkley is the most successful Ports AFL coach despite never having made a Grand Final let alone won one.Poordadelaide - we exist to have successful seasons in terms of win/loss
This sort of comment is just proof that we never hold reviews at this club. We never even have a facade of accountability. We never go back over decisions made and consider whether they were correct or not and we never, ever even discuss someone losing their job for a critically bad decisions.
Ken Hinkley coached sides demonstrably turn to absolute dogshit the second he signs a contract. Is anyone, ever going to have to answer for this record? Is anyone ever going to have to answer for giving him outrageously premature extensions?
Lol this is fanciful. He has them eating his shit direct from a pipe up his anus.If Hinkley stuffs up this years finals, which is what he usually does, he's going to be under pressure he can't imagine, even the media will turn on him, the coach with one of if not the best midfield in the comp.
There's nowhere to hide Donuts.
Lol...the media love Ken.If Hinkley stuffs up this years finals, which is what he usually does, he's going to be under pressure he can't imagine, even the media will turn on him, the coach with one of if not the best midfield in the comp.

He can hide behind a premature and unwarranted two year contract extensionIf Hinkley stuffs up this years finals, which is what he usually does, he's going to be under pressure he can't imagine, even the media will turn on him, the coach with one of if not the best midfield in the comp.

What a blithering idiot. Suck the koolaid you bellend.
Not waiting until the end of finals is the key here, there's going to be alot of egg on face candidates.Lol...the media love Ken.
Kane will lead the agenda with "I didn't even have Port in my 8 so Ken did a great job".
He can if he wants but Koch is the one I want hammered for this premature dumb extension. He can hide behind a premature and unwarranted two year contract extension
No one involved in Hinkley's contract extension is accountable to anyone. They will not have egg on their faces as they will just roll out the same old excuses. It's everyone's fault except for Hinkley and his enablers. Not waiting until the end of finals is the key here, there's going to be alot of egg on face candidates.
Tarp days were some of the best times of my life ironically. 2011 game v Collingwood my mate and I painted Chad Cornes initials on our chests, hoping we'd get to celebrate his career with a goal or something. We ended up resorting to lifting our shirts up when he got a touch lol, which didn't happen many times.
