Went early to "send a warning" and then utterly lacked the conviction to keep backing it up.
AFL just need the optics for the public that they are seen to be trying to do the right thing.

This is the funniest and most uplifting stuff I have read in the last 2 weeks whilst in The wildness

Is it factually correct ?
Haha I don’t really care TBH
Yes, it's true.

BZT is not a key defender... & certainly not the lockdown defender Port need. Better suited as a 3rd tall.

Mind you Sav isn't a lockdown key defender either!

I’m fairly sure two ruckman from other clubs want to go to Port in recent days. In fact every day I read another player wants to go to Port
Sweet may end up better value than Grundy...

The reason you can't recall it is because this situation involves a player who was susceptible to concussion and had already copped a head knock during the game.

Seriously I wonder sometimes how many of you have actually played football.

Rubbish.
The reason I can’t recall it is because the player smothering is usual the one at risk of coping a boot to the head. Not the bloke kicking the ball. This action that Maynard did doesn’t happen - may not of happened in the last 20 years at AFL level. As others have commented - at the very least it was a reckless act, jumping in the air at speed at an oncoming player

I sure hope we have a good news trade this year too. I mean we’ve done well in recent years, but I’m greedy
Think we need to trade in a mid age player if we lose McAdam & Doedee as we are still very inexperienced.

CEY taking brisbane to court. That tweet barracking for the pear last weekend now makes sense

COVID vaccine stuff. He didn't get vaccinated.

Zero chance of winning tho.

Apparently in the covid year , he only got paid 80k of his 280k salary (due to being unvax) so asking for the rest of his 200k

I bet I can guess who his lawyer is...

Adelaide is even getting dragged into this.

"Ellis-Yolmen told the league his “genuine concerns about the effects of the vaccines” was “borne out of a previous adverse reaction to the influenza vaccine administered by his old club” – Adelaide."

I wonder what his manager was doing at the time.

Lawyers for the former Adelaide Crow and Lion allege he was pressured into signing a form that gave Brisbane the right to pay him just $88,043 of his $294,500 playing contract for 2022.

Ellis-Yolmen, who is Indigenous, claims he signed the letter “under duress” after receiving a strongly-worded legal letter from AFL general counsel Andrew Dillon.

Interesting thing is the amount of money a fringe player can get from a club like Brisbane.

What odds that this gets somehow blamed on Dean Bailey again?

Looking forward to a long, protracted "which Jordon is the best Jordon in SA" rivalry between Butts and Sweet.

There is a joke about Sweet Butts in there somewhere but I'm way too tired to work it out.

But Matt Crouch is on 250K!

It was successfully argued/pointed out the jump was predominantly vertical not at brayshaw.

I got crook the first time I had a flu jab but never again since. I wonder if it was the same dose that got CEY. Was weird, lasted about 2 days, had a fever and nightsweats, took a shower at the end of the second day, had a massive chunder, and I was right as rain. I remember taking thursday and friday off from work but being perfectly fine for the weekend. Timed it to perfection.
