Now of course, with the death of RDB, the 1970 GF is getting airplay.

Couldn’t imagine that one man has been involved in more heartbreak for Collingwood supporters …

As a player, played in Grand final teams that defeated Collingwood:

1955, 1956, 1960, 1964 (All with Melbourne, the last two as Captain)

As a senior coach, coached teams that defeated Collingwood in a Grand Final:

1964 (with Melbourne), 1970 (with Carlton), 1977 (with North Melbourne)

I know a Pies supporter with the same. 2018 Premiers.
A line through 2018 and now has a fresh 2023 below it..

Didn't coach the flag in 64, that was Norm Smith. There was speculation and maybe a temp appointment in 64 but Barassi was capt and Smith coach
