Would have been funny to get in at the expense of Freo and Carlton, but we would not have won a final. Let’s roll out Allan and DeMattia next week
Ive just heard that rumour. Thats exactly what they did lolYeah, maybe WCE rolled over just to spite Freo
Oh dear, let’s take the dogs for example. JUH, Norton and Darcy any of whom can kick multiple goals each week.Is McStay not a key forward?
What about if they let us play Carlton 5 times. That’s be better. We won’t get a better fixture though. Too much money to be made from us.
Bombers are the worst performed Victorian team of the last 20 years. We may not have made it to September this year, but we still have 2023 to look back on fondly; and at least we don't have the ignominy of being supporters of Carlton (or Essendon, or West Coast, or Richmond, or North). That would be almost more than I could bear.
God I hope they never bring that in.Did we make Wild Card round?
The season is now officially over and we can all stop pretending like we had a chance ever since we lost 4 in a row post-bye, that month of footy was the back breaker.
We did not deserve to be in the finals and have received only what we have earned over 22 games of footy. The effort we put in yesterday was exactly what we needed for most of the season, unfortunately we just didn't want it enough in too many game. As an example, look at how desperate and aggressive Sidey was yesterday, the way he attacked the clearances, where has that been this season? Only when all looks lost do we try to step up......but this time it has all been a bit too late.
We let games slip that we would have won last year (Bomber twice, Saints, Freo, Suns, Cats, Swans, there's 24 extra points right there upgrading the two draws). Injuries aside nobody hand on heart can say we have been good enough this year. Use this extra time off well and prepare better for the start of 2025. We need everyone fit and ready, no excuses.
Last night was magnificent.
If you can’t enjoy wins like that then why bother?

Dillion and the AFL has a tendacy to change rules on the fly (No pun intended)
Can we add a wildcard round in the bye week.
We will win from 9th. The scum won from 9th once in 2013.Won't Help Collingwood
Of course it matters. Wins like that make you proud to barrack for this great club.Well after this Round does not really matter that we won really
Good point, you may be right. Time for 1 year deals for Sidey I think. His best is still outstanding but we need him to deliver it alot more next year. For most of this season he had been just floating around a little too much.Amazing what contract talk does to a players form and desperation!!!
Let's celebrate 10th position cup

What about the 50 against North that wasn’t paid and the Rankin running too far decisions?
Losers blame umpires.
Call me biased, but a finals series without Collingwood is a very empty affair for neutrals.
The decisions that were both ticked off by the AFL as correct you mean?
Blaming losses on umpiring decisions is loser talk. The decisions that were both ticked off by the AFL as correct you mean?
