If we turn every pick we had in this draft for pick 3, which is a 3 pick upgrade, when theres very little diff between 3 and 6 and no guarantee that the player will be better at pick 3 than at pick 6, that is not a huge win it is pure incompetence. Either you make a move for a win now guy or you just load up on young guys, doing the in-between move is ridiculous. Now we've offloaded all our midfield depth, might be an idea to actually replace some of it.
Wow seriously? We have limited list spots, we're clearly not going to use a lot of those picks (i.e. they are worthless to us) so we're trading them to GC because thy will use them for points, and turnig the picks we will actually use into MUCH better players

You gotta pay something good to get something good. We have used this trading strategy for the last few years and have done very well. I trust the trade and recruiting team know exactly what they are doing.

It might well be, ill reserve final judgement for the end result but from all counts theres little difference between someone at 2 like Mckercher or Duursma and someone at 6 like Sanders or Curtain. Anyways i g2 get some work done, finding it very hard to have faith in Tim Lamb...

Ill believe it when I see it that Curtain is available at 6. Don't need Sanders, got enough of his kind.

We'll still have access to Kynan Brown as a F/S pick, decent get for a late pick

Surely North don't give us pick 15 along with pick 3 for 6 and 11.

There'd have to be other things involved to sweeten that for North. They're not gonna slide from 3 to 6 just to move up from 15 to 11.

agree, that's why I said it would be a huge win.

Yep probably right. Might be 21 instead of 15, or something else involved. But I do think there is potential we'll be trying to get 3 with 6 and 11 somehow

What kind of dumb sentence is that, Damo?

The opening up of the possibilities in Petty's mind and eyes himself. Jesus.

Did my head in trying to read it, but I think he's just saying that Adelaide showing interest has opened Petty's eyes to the possibilities of a move back to SA.

Might have to throw in Schache and promise them he kicks 7 in the grand final for them. It's not necessarily lying as long as we don't say 'AFL' grand final.

They'll never make an AFL Grand final to find out so its not a lie.

Adelaide trading 23 & 26 for 14 & Chris Burgess have made out like bandits.
