Any of the track watchers sneak in a word or two with Sam about the upcoming draft?
If they did ask a question about the draft, I trust that Sam would've let it safely through to the 'keeper. Even in the (very) unlikely event that he did inadvertently let something slip, I trust the track watchers wouldn't be divulging it on a public forum a few days out from the draft.

Yes he was.

Played 17 games cross his first 3 season, struggling in the VFL.
Didn't average over 20 touches a game until his 6th season.

But sure he was a gun from his debut.

you said "Josh Daicos was text book shite for his first 5 years in the system."

respectfully, no he wasnt is the correct answer.

he actually started to have breakout games in the middle of 2020 (his 4th season). Bucks played him out of position at the start of 2021. He has thrived since Macrae took over but the makings of a very good player were there if you took notice.

i watched him closely as he was in my fantasy team in both 20 & 21 - we have all seen his trajectory since.

Yes 2022 and 2023 under Mcrae which is his 6th and 7th year, Josh was crap well into his 5th season. Flash in a pan game weeks apart isn't proof of anything. In his first 5 season he never truly nailed down his position, he wasn't played out of position he just simply wasn't good enough to hold his preferred position.

Who said he was a gun from his debut? Show us all who has said that.

Daicos was drafted in 2016. In his third and fourth seasons he was averaging over 17 and 18 touches respectively, playing a variety of roles. He was clearly a decent player even then, if you weren't paying attention then that's on you.

If Daicos was "test book shite" for the first five years, which is obviously not true, then what does that make Harry Morrison for his entire career?

As an aside, what kind of sad individual dislikes posts at the rate you do? That's real wiener like behaviour.

That was written acerbically. I'll add a citation to anything sarcastic in the future so you don't get confused.

Morrison 6th year (his best) vs Daicos 5th year. So you've now implied Morrison has been shit for the entity of his career, so you essentially just agreed with my point. Cheers.

Is your ego so fragile you actually pay attention to who likes or dislikes your posts? :tearsofjoy:

Everyone notices your constant disliking of posts.

There's one particular poster who seems to make an effort to come and dislike anything you post about a certain former employee of our club - the dedication is remarkable!

Yes. Gone are the days where you could rely on kimbopen to like every one of your posts.
If anyone has written a thoughtful post, I like it even if I may mildly disagree.

Just a way to encourage posters who add to the experience.

If I clearly disagree but can't be arsed responding, I put in a dislike to mark my disagreement.

Obviously if I agree, I like and also respond if I have anything to add.

Joondalup was the staunchest Clarko defender.

Presuming you were like this when you were one of the early callers out of our old strategies.

Morrison is a decent player that I believe will be out of the side when we are competing at the top again. Nothing controversial about that.

His very best seasons equate to two of Daicos's "text book shit" seasons, according to you. You are inadvertently saying Morrison has been text book shit his whole career.

Being a prolific disliker of posts on an internet forum reflects on you, and has absolutely nothing to do with anyone elses ego. It's weiner behaviour.

If you guys love Josh Daicos so much, why don't you marry him!1
