AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
Any sighting of AB. IMHO he is the key.
I know all sorts are creaming themselves over Serong being the next captain. But in 2022 when AB was the voice of the young we performed. He didn’t seem to have the same… authority this year and our midfield went backwards.
Yes broady wasn’t the same as we gave his spot to Ras or Jono. No we didn’t have Mundy. O’Meara didn’t slot in immediately etc. but we made all those choices believing we would make the finals. We believed in the youthful midfield. Is it a coincidence that when AB started to fire we won.
Wonder why he didn’t do the leadership stuff in the US.

He is just enjoying the feathers while he still has them. Been there.
I was in Kings Park last week. I saw him doing Jacobs Ladder and looking a bit leaner. I'm all on board supporting him next year.Little tid bit for all the pot shots taken at Will Brodie,
Spotted him at freo oval this morning getting smashed by his pt
Now, there's just no need for this cynicism.Officially the best time of the year as a Freo fan.
- With no evidence to say otherwise, we've just drafted Chris Judd, Harris Andrews and Eddie Betts
- Without an injury report, there are no injuries
- We will win every match we play until Feb
- <insert name> is TTHD and about to go to another level
Was Davies training today? Or did he get a leave pass because of the Friday/Saturday stuff? I couldn't see him in the photos.
Nice to see them at Fremantle Oval.
39'C today, and he still wasn't wearing a hat. This is downright dangerous!
If he was at Jacob's Ladder he couldn't have been TTHD but did he set the place on fire?I was in Kings Park last week. I saw him doing Jacobs Ladder and looking a bit leaner. I'm all on board supporting him next year.
The club knew what they were getting when they picked him up. He's never going to be a marathon runner - lets have us use what he's good at - winning the ball.
I think he's massively hard done by. Our midfield is better when he's in there getting us first use. Rather than try and mould him into something he's not, lets use his strengths and then cover his weakness in other ways, that's what good teams do.
It’s more that the young guns are coming from a low base, the more pre-seasons you do, the quicker you come up to speed with the next one. The older guys are more conditionedYes he can do it wherever suits him best. He's not been required to join the young guys for several seasons now. He'd be expected to manage his own preseason fitness regime with club targets.
Curious that 4th year+ players need a mental break, but younguns don't.
Not from what I saw, looked about as big as my 12yo.Another player I want to keep an eye on this preseason is Williams. Hopefully he has put on some weight!
I would have thought his uncle’s wedding would be part of the reasonAny sighting of AB. IMHO he is the key.
