Was down at training for a while today so a few amateur observations without getting too positive
Quite a few still missing including Fyfe,Cox,Ryan,Worner,Freddy-didn’t see Walters or Brayshaw but apparently they were doing laps earlier.
Rehab consisted of Chappy,Darcy,Stanley,Walker and the Big Kahuna but none looked to be inhibited and were pounding out laps and doing kicking drills of which Chappy didn’t miss a target.
Didn’t notice Brodie much in the drills but looks a little leaner.
Young definitely looks lighter ,gearing up for midfield role and I thought one of the standouts along with Serong,Jono and Erasmus who both looked super fit.
Agree on JOM he was involved in everything and his kicking was first class.
Draper did a few good things and has filled out a bit.
Conrad Williams is super fast and has a nice kick,got caught trying to do to much a couple of times and needs more time in the gym-but plenty to work with
Drizz looked lively and has added a bit of pace,kicking and tackling we’re both good-think he can step up this year.
The new lad (Odin)was pretty keen in the first couple of drills then joined the rehab boys to finish off-looks a good size for 18

He is excused. He is used to no sun at all at this time of the year...

I was in Kings Park last week. I saw him doing Jacobs Ladder and looking a bit leaner. I'm all on board supporting him next year.

Sorry. My bad. He running up hills on the river side of where I thought Jacobs ladder was. I thought that's where Jacobs ladder was but it looks like I'm wrong. I'll check my facts next time.

He was in red hot form so to speak. Yeah sorry I got it wrong in terms of him doing Jacobs ladder. I saw him running up the hills on the far side of Kings Park towards the River that I thought led to Jacobs Ladder. I was wrong. My bad.

In more ways then one there is a bit of Ballantyne about Jack. I think he'll have a similar nature and attitude to Hayden on the field too.

My gut feel is Jack will be the best of these three. Not saying the other two wont be any good, just feel like Walls nabbed an absolute steal at pick 60 odd.

Not sure about that. According to me and some other crew on here that have watched some of his highlights, Coop Simpson is “Judd-esque”.

And I don’t mean that he’s a sniping automaton that played for the two campaigneriest team in the league.
