Yeah.

GA definitely used to have some sitting behind the goals, but that's gone. I'm not sure how long it's been gone for. Maybe it's been gone for ages, or maybe it's one of the changes that happened with the L2 shunting that occured this year.

Yeah the ‘improvements’ look far from ideal from my point of view. I will wait and see if the new bar set up makes up for what has dipped on the seating front

I've sat in front of goals with a GA membership the last 6 years. Maybe I'm the worlds dumbest campaigner - but the club makes this info too hard to find.

If I'm shafted up to L3, I'm simply not going.

Nobody wants to hear me whinge again, but I'll just say that I loved my seat on L2 and loved the other NMFC supporters around me who I built up a rapport with the past few years. Couldn't justify paying the Premiership Club price for a pocket/behind the goals view though.

My daughter loves being close to the front fence so she can try and get high fives from players and mascots, so I moved to a reserved seat in the 2nd row in Bay 17. Obviously a far inferior view, but happy to sit there if it makes my daughter happy and increases her enjoyment at the games.

Wait - I've been sitting in the Social Club Bay it seems. Is that because of the COVID upgrades? Jesus I'm confused, I'm gonna have to get these blokes on the blower

Social Club bays (without reserved seats) are $549 a year;

The standard General Admission membership (level 3) is $249 a year.

Yep - and previously I've been able to sit in the Social Club bays while paying an 11 Game GA membership ($299). So if what you're saying it true, I have to pay an extra $250 for the same value.

Okay - sorted it. So I was able to sit in the Social Club Bay with an 11 Game GA membership because of the COVID upgrades. The bloke from the membership department told me that if I renew my membership this year as a GA member, the COVID upgrade will automatically apply again without paying the $500+.

A bit confusing - but maybe this has already been explained in some email that I didn't read.

It’s not about value for money, it’s for the love of the cub 😉

Reserved seats piss me off. I find some of our own supporters can get infuriating. I can’t see why the reserved bays can’t be complete bays (aside from the worst one right behind the goals).

Well it’s strange that you still receive Covid benefits yet the Premiership club Covid benefits of two extra guest passes was replaced by the usual guest passes getting taken away for the season just gone.

The membership department making things unnecessarily complicated doesn't seem strange to me at all lol

Oh mate. I was stuck with one bloke behind me for 5 years. A horrible squeaky voice, over confidence and no idea of the rules. On some occastions the ****er would end up behind me again at replacement games. Now i'm thinking about it hes a big reason I moved to level 2. Maybe the club should plant some annoying af people in areas to try and push people to upgrade.

Hoping to get a bit of advice here. Settling back into Melbs.

Looking at memberships, unsure which way to go. Don't want reserved seat but would like reserved bay with other one eyed supporters.

Looking at either Social Club Membership or Permiership Club Membership.

What's the difference (and personal preferences) between the two? One is for Social Club Function Room L1 and the other for Premiership Club Function Room L2? Pricing is similar. Not sure which way to go and why one might be better than the others.

Both include the guarantee of GF tickets next year when North make the Grand Final

Grateful for any advice - cheers.

For viewing, you can’t beat L2 , especially if you can get a little closer to wing.

For atmospher, L1 might edge it, especially if you can get on a wing.

Personally I did 15 years on lvl but I tried L2 and never returned!!

That's why I just signed the Premiership Club. Did not want to spend all that money on a reserved seat only to get there day one and be stuck next to someone who drives me insane.

Reserved Bays is my thing.

Don’t listen to any of them

Sit Level 3 and save yourself the $$$

Can’t believe wat I’be just read since your post

If the Social Club Bay is reserved, why are the so many oppo supporters in there?
I work at Marvel but refuse to work North games. When i work on Western bulldogs or stkilda membership bays I often get complaints about opposition fans but I check and they have valid tickets. Sometimes bought via friends but often just via ticketmaster. I presume the clubs sell back spare tickets if members don't sell out the bay. Carlton has good first come first server member bays but loads of people get there at gate open to nab a seat which would annoy me

I expect you will still be able to get in behind goals cheer squad end

Do get sick of checking tickets at every break or do you just remember who left the Bay and wave them through?

Wats you best and worst story?

I worked at Waverley in 1989 and 90. Every week there was some event that I still talk about around the camp fire. Good times!

I love fumbling around to show my ticket while holding $60 worth of junk food and drinks I’ve just bought for the kids and me.
