We had Scotts, that bloke from Sydney and the other bloke, none of whom bothered to read the instructions, used Cold Power in hot water and all of them messed around with the cycles and water levels so no wonder the bloody thing got our knickers in a twist!!!Sounds like that washing machine the club bought a few years ago.
Given that F1 & 13 were the only two picks reported on, I think it's a pretty fair enough assumption. I, like yourself, hope there was more to it. Very well may not have been though.Yes the F1 was on the table for Bombers 9, Freo's 11 and GC 13, but you don't know the full deals discussed.
You are making an assumption that we undervalued it because only pick 13 was mentioned.
My assumption would be the deal was 13 and one of 23 or 29.
Well they are the picks in the deal that really matter to journos, they don't really care about 2nd and 3rd round picks.Given that F1 & 13 were the only two picks reported on, I think it's a pretty fair enough assumption. 4 possible answers here:It’s fairly public knowledge that our F1 has been on the table. The fact we were willing to part with it for pick 13, shows it as being undervalued IMO. If we were willing to trade it for 13, we can safely assume we were/are willing to trade it for anything earlier than 13 & potentially something later than 13. We haven’t been able to find a taker at this stage thankfully.
The market absolutely determines the value, but you don’t sell your house when the markets dead at a significantly lower rate unless you absolutely have to…

I would guess they want Luke Trainor or Lindsay.4 possible answers here:
1. List Man Team really don't give a f@#$ about the value of our F1 and desperately want a player(s) in mid to late 1st round?
2. List Man Team are backing our side finish with 11+ wins next year, and finish 10th or 9th (pick 9 or 10) therefore rendering F1 value a mid 1st rounder at best?
3. List Man Team f@#$ed up by getting nothing back in the Daniel deal and now scrambling to get back in the 1st or 2nd round?
4. List Man Team aren't interested in next years talent and are willing to fore go the best 1-18 talent in the land?
I think you're right.Won't matter what we do, it'll be wrong it seems.

I kind of like that, Carlton I reckon were pretty smug trading up to 3, also thinking they'd get Houston.Don’t think it’s Draper they are after. It’s O’Sullivan. Carlton also keen on him

Yeah no thanksI wonder if any of the DFA's we've been linked to are a chance of being senior/rookie listed at the drafts? I remember Sebit Kuek, Lachlan Gollant, Gary Rohan and Charlie Clarke all getting mentioned around here, maybe train-on options?
I heard Gollant is a strong chance to be on our list one way or another.I wonder if any of the DFA's we've been linked to are a chance of being senior/rookie listed at the drafts? Historical family links to the club might bring out the best in him. We've been looking at him a while now.An undersized pseudo key forward is exactly what we are screaming out for....
Give Werribee guys a go at what a spot on North VFL list think they would stay where they are.Yeah no thanks
Hopefully we give the Werribee guys a go
But of course if the nuffies say no, the club has no alternative really.
Not suggesting rf08 is a nuffy surely?Historical family links to the club might bring out the best in him. We've been looking at him a while now.

Might be going for bad scotts land of giants backline Witt a little tweak if only having tweener forwardsGenuine question do you really think we need a 191cm forward when we already have Zurhaar, Duursma, Ford, & Darling?
Aka the draft strategy of getting a pay day loan to cover the credit card debt you knocked up to deal with your cash advance that you took out to pay for your "buy now, pay later" whitegoods first instalment.
I really like different thinking, surely this, over us selling 2 for gross unders.I really don't see the point of taking another mid at the top of this draft, there must be better options. So if we can't manage to trade down and take some tall and small forwards, should we try trading out and setting ourselves up for next year when the top of the draft is thought to be stronger?
2, 62, F2, F3 > 28, 31, F1, F1
This would give us three likely top ten picks next year and a couple of second rounders for talls from Gerryn, Barrat, Sims.
Essendon need to offload those second rounders or they get eaten up by matching a Kako bid. It's also been suggested they want to live trade back in. Pick 2 would surely be a better option for them than competing against other clubs for a late first rounder.
Don't mind the thought but the last time we traded into the future it was a disaster and we'd miss out on some good players in the 1st round of this draft.I really don't see the point of taking another mid at the top of this draft, there must be better options.
