Feed them little kids.

It legitimately blew my mind. 40’s and had NFI they lived in fresh water. They’ll evolve legs… are they the next land predator?
The Bull shark is right up there with the Great white as the two most dangerous sharks in the world probably followed by the Tiger. The reason is that there not only in the sea but the rivers as well, you have to watch out for. With the bite force of one of the top ten creatures in the world as well as many examples of flesh eating bacteria getting into peoples wounds when they have been bitten, the "Bull", is almost on a par with the Great white.

A comparison would be a 16 foot Great white against say a 11 foot Bull, since the Bull doesn't grow much larger than that {there have been a few, but it is rare} the end result, getting attacked by either of these is near fatal, depending on circumstances. Just when you think its safe to go back in the water {certain rivers}, its really not.

Well they're not coming up the Yarra thanks to Dights Falls.

I don't think we get bull sharks this far south, but before colonisation the Yarra ran clear (as did the Maribyrnong) and sharks did indeed swim up as far as Dights Falls.

Pre-colonisation, I'd imagine Yarra Falls (located somewhere near Jeff's Shed) would have been a challenge for any sharks before it was demolished. Of course, it's not just the fact that natural falls block sharks and fish from physically swimming upstream but also that the falls prevent tidal effects and that means the upstream water is fresh rather than salt. Bull sharks can swim in fresh water but I don't know of any other shark that can survive for long in fresh water.

Used to be able to see Platypus and see the bottom of the Goulburn River.

Used to be able to get Mussels off the base of the Bridge at Moama I read last week from an Elder.

42. Kal D

I don’t get why this bloke hasn’t played more than 5 games in a season and a half on our list especially when Griff went down last year. He hasn’t looked out of place when he has played. Now that BMac has gone and Griff is still down he must be a serious chance to play Rd 1 as a tall, interceptping defender. It presents a big opportunity to nail down a spot before Griff returns.
It really is mind boggling how few games he has played. Any excuse for this can only be based on speculation because I've seen some unique traits when he has played no flaw that should prevent him getting a game over Dan Howe or Lachie Young.

With ise guys gone and him putting in some good games plus now with Griffin out - he’s surely a big chance for round 1.

A mature body, 196cm that is familiar with the game plan and team. He could be very important this year.
