There's nothing blue collar about any AFL club anymore they turnover millions, have a cast of roped off suits & superstars & little regard for the real world.

No one is really broke, no one is merging, no one is becoming the next Fitzroy, they service & knock off debt & all get slices of AFL Hou$e pie.
And all the lovely government handouts and tax exemptions.

I appreciate that sort of content but the "we're just a blue collar club we don't expect these sorts of things" line is more shocking nonsense, "we're poor but have good facilities lol weird" is what our players are told to say to shape our brand. we don't expect a nice locker room because we're a "blue collar club"?
Had to write something back, need more powerful language.

What's that then? Because you need to fix all those things you mentioned to win footy (if thats what you mean), which one should we focus all our efforts on first?
We can start with the BOD first ... Get Tredders in, and Koch OUT!!! Then we can work on fixing the coaching mess! There was really nothing wring with what Ollie said. Crapping on about a few words from his mouth is just plain stupid IMO. It sounds so churlish ... just looking for anything to whine about!

Ah I see, I thought you were saying everything was fine and we just need to concentrate on the footy.

Wines’ comment seems to be a symptom of the over satisfied malaise amongst management though.

I think the Bigfooty family is by and large furious with the club they have loved for so long, from the Top down. So, just about everything that is said or done is being torn apart, dissected, and over-analyzed.

It's just a bit over the top IMO.

Don't disagree with you on the whole but for some reason Wines' commentary annoyed me.
The fact that it seems the whole "blue collar club" thing seems to be almost a stock standard comment now just grates on me.
Then we have theses seemingly awesome new facilities and to see so little emotion/excitement is a bit underwhelming.

Can you post this re on the Camry board.

According to the customer's we’re the main reason for the 2007 (119) GFC since the Great Depression.

Guy earning hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in multi billion dollar industry thinks he's poor. How out of touch are these "good humans"?

Meanwhile just keep handing over your hard earned you ungrateful white noise.

3 weeks ago Sarah Constructions put this video up on its YouTube account combing all its 2-3 minute videos from October 2022 and looks like the last bit is from early December 2023.

Pity its not until 3 weeks ago but you will be able to get a look at the finished product on Friday at the AGM and Saturday at the Family Day, when

" Facility tours will be operating every 10 minutes from 4.15pm, giving Port Adelaide fans the opportunity to see in the ins and outs of Alberton Oval's new state-of-the-art training and recovery facilities, with an exclusive look into the brand-new MG High Performance Centre."

One thing about that video is that it clearly shows, is a hell of a lot of steel was used in building what I have called the Big Shed.

GFG obviously donated the steel at mates rates, be it zero cost to Port, or for production cost price, or cost price + a very small margin for GFG. Whatever they charged the club, it would be a decent amount saved by the club on market price.

For GFC not to get naming rights, means MG must have given a decent bump to their sponsorship deal with the club. What do you reckon Lockhart Road.

You'd imagine GFG would get some compensatory signage elsewhere at the oval?
Good news if MG have increased their partnership levels.
Not a huge fan of the carpark in the south western pocket, seeing as the outer wing mound and bar/canteen have disappeared. Means most fans will be sandwhiched onto the western side of he ground and very little atmosphere on the eastern side during SANFL and AFLW games?
