The free kick count was 30-15 free kicks in our favour tonight, it makes a difference when we finally have the umpires on our side for once.

It looked like they were on Collingwood's side in the first quarter and I thought "here we go again" but then we got the umpire armchair ride.

Maybe it's our turn for an umpire assisted premiership like the Bulldogs got in 2016.

I wouldn't want to win a premiership that way though, I want to win a premiership the hard way with the umpires screwing us per usual.

hey guys, congrats on the win. Fantasy related question here. Riley Bonner, any chance of being dropped after tonights game? Obviously had the deep kick blunder in front of goals and then had the smothered kick leading to a direct goal. Spent the first 15 minutes on the bench which is never a good way to start a game. His time on ground was well down. 93% last week, and in the 70's this week.

There’s really nobody available to replace him yet so I’d say he’s safe until Webster or maybe even Clark come back. Another stinker or two like he had tonight could change things though.

With Wood out (and while a different position), I think they’ll keep all other runners/kickers because that usual mix of Sinclair/Hill/NWM/Henry/Byrnes/Wilson all rolling through wings/HB/HF.

Personally, I think he’s safe, but Schoenmakers will be an interesting watch tomorrow.

We will miss Wood, I thought he was bog against the injectors last year. Hopefully Henry and Byrnes can step up again like they did this week.
Out: Wood
In: Butler? Collard? Garcia?

If Butler is fit then surely his pressure (at a minimum) means straight in. More wing time for Wilson and Byrnes. Surprised Crouch is actually playing VFL. Thought he may have been sent for a block of training or partially an injury giveaway. By the way, the VFL team looks weaker than usual weakness. Bottom 4? Must be terrible for development.

Yeah, yeah…so the players were awesome and the win was great, but….

….how about us fans?
The joint was bloody jumping!!
Best $100 000 the club has spent!
There were two big patches. Around the goals and near the 50 arc in the SW stand

I'm going to watch the game again in full this evening, this morning with the nerves of it all and life interuppting I didn't get to sit down and watch it all, but oh what a glorious victory, and I just read the first 5 posts in the Collingwood thread on their board, but I'm also going to save the rest of that champagne comedy for later, oh what a day, go you SAINTAAAAAA!!!!!!!

What was the split in fans tonight, any estimates? Would be unreal if we had 40k-45k there.

We were well represented. Not sure but looked 50/50ish. At Malvern station some Pies supporters were saying how they knew heaps of Saints supporters and that "if they'd been successful they'd be a massive club". There were heaps on the station and train at that time so might have been a fairly biased call.
