Couldn’t agree more. Remember 2 years ago people wanted Carlton to miss finals in the last day even if it cost us a top 4 position and a double chance.

Because the umpires have completely bent us over against Carlton over the past few years?

Carlton have pulled out their best games against us consistently, including cripps and co playing dirty against our team?

Carlton have won a bunch of close ones both with and without the umpires help against us?


Then you add in media darlings and all that other crap

There supporters coming onto our board, after the Carlton won via an umpiring decision, got me.

It's been covered in other threads, for me personally it goes much further back but recent events have reinforced it.

Whenever I travelled to Melbourne for a footy weekend the Carlton supporters were horrendous, no matter who they were playing or how bad they were.
No other team came close, including Collingwood who have the reputation of being shockers.

I don’t think the Pies miss finals though , I think they will win enough even if they lose this game.

Zero faith in Bombers, Suns or Dogs to hold them out. Bombers do seem to have a very easy next few weeks though, may be enough for them.

I think we will finish 7th or 8th, but we have shown even the worst sides can knock us off.

I think the Pies are going to struggle without both Mitchell and De Goey. They won't have the midfield to get the job done.

Carlton don't play on the same level field as the other teams. They get in trouble for salary cap breach then invent a new way of doing it, the AFL change the rules on that immediately after it worked to get them Chris Judd, then they invent a new way of using the wealth of their board members to attract and retain players.

That's before we even start on the Blues getting lovely game times, good for TV and sponsorship exposure, even when they are rubbish.

They couldn't be more taken care of by the AFL.

But in saying that, their fans are actually fine in my experience.

Yeah Blues supporters online are toxic but in person they are quite lovely, most people are lovely in person. Except St Kilda supporters. Burnley can F* off.

as it stands we currently have 9 (Magpies), 11, 14 (Port) and 25 (Saints). Plus 61 (Saints).

Obviously subject to fluctuate as the season progresses, getting that 9 and 14 lower would be immense, finishing with our very own 18 (!) not to mention can Saints 'upgrade' their 25, kindly. Thank-ya-sir
