Make all the koolaide flavoured justifications you like those half a dozen WAFL games were VERY promising for a 19/20 yr old ruckman including giving our old mate Scott Jones the runaround one game

Jones gave Reidy all he could handle in the granny and was in the convo for best on in the first half

So the same set of posters who said ‘ don’t worry about the delisting ‘ a month ago are now ‘ saying don’t worry he’s the 4th string ruckman ‘ will be the same clowns saying ‘ don’t worry about Bolton it takes time to settle into a new club ‘ and don’t worry that our pressure is dogshit the coaches know what they are doing ‘

There is no point for us to get miffed and retaliate with GC for slipping in and getting Knobel before us.
In the long run deals with them have generally worked out in our favour and as they turn over a lot more players than most AFL teams we should keep things harmonious with them.

Cmon holding grudges is half the fun of footy.

F*ck SOS

A bit annoyed about Knobel but he’s a million miles from our best 23. If he had developed with us we could have got a 3rd rounder for him in a couple of years.

My dream is that Reid is a gun and zooms past Johnno and Ras in 2025/26.

Not convinced that Fyfe can play another season. Can he play as Sub to offer some second half grunt?

If the senior coach doesn't have the guts to drop players like Fyfe and Walters then he shouldn't be the coach. This isn't the under 10's.
Its not drop. Its rest. What they asked of fyfe after midseason - when his performance clearly headed south - was poor managememt, clear and simple. He was flying in the first half of the season.

It's 'rest and manage' in the modern game. There's a way to do it without embarrassing Fyfe and Walters by asking them to play at Peel unless they're coming off a significant layoff.

This Aiden Riddle kid looks fantastic.

Knobel is too one dimensional. Once he’s contested the tap, he’s doing eff-all.

Riddle has serious footy chops and the requisite arrogance to get the job done.

Hopefully Dogga listens when the Riddler starts giving him marking tips.

  • Knobel sounds like he is a couple of seasons away from being ready, and unlikely to have been ahead of Reidy.
  • unlikely he will get games at the Suns either.
  • pretty sure he has left on good terms.
  • if in a year or two Darcy is struggling, and we really want Knobel, go get him. He's sitting on the rookie list at the club that defines irrelevance.
  • in the meantime, I'm pretty interested to see what the Riddler can do.

Riddle and Nichols are both very athletic so get around the ground and both have very sticky hands, it’s almost like Walls and co went to one of Taylor’s “marks between the arcs” seminars, I guess after watching Voss and Jackson drop so many in the last few weeks of the season they realised it was something they needed to address.

" He's sitting on the rookie list at the club that defines irrelevance." Printing that one out
