Not only do we need to reward form in the VFL we need to drop back players out of form in the firsts. Campbell has been a mile off since the Sydney game and no way could Cumberland offer any less. If the bloke has 6 scoring shorts in a game, albeit poor conversion he must be doing something right. Our forward line and scoring power is so incredibly poor right now would be bizarre if we didn’t play him. Got nothing to lose playing a guy who has proven he can kick goals, cos at the moment we have a forward line of guys who can’t

Taking a cheap shot at the way a player looks. go you, what a man ?

They're not elite seriously T4P. I would delist Mansell as he's just an average foot soldier run of the mill role player.
Campbell is still young and has time to prove me wrong that he'll be a B grader at best. Elite is an overused and misused word around these traps so it should be used sparingly until more information is witnessed on players.
Fair cop, I'll clarify - they bring elite pressure and add a lot to the team.

Nothing to lose is wrong. The final games of the year should be given to young players to increase their level of experience. If the club sees no future for Cumberland then we are better off putting games into the youngsters deemed to have a future.

Cumberland is *n annoying. He alone is responsible for his plight. The prick should have been dominating at VFL level and demanded a game. Personally I think the club will be best rid of him.

When your side kicks 5 and 6 goals in two weeks and two small forwards are hardly sighted and this bloke is the highest rated player on the ground with 1.6 then he deserves a go. I'm all for playing kids so don't get me wrong, but I'm also first to playing your in form best 23 and not gifting games to any player whether a kid or senior one.
This is his last roll of the dice if he's selected and if he's not then you maybe right that his number could be up.

How do you know the club see's no future in Cumberland. And why is he an he *n annoying. Did you watch his team mates get around him when he kicked that goal. It was like he kicked his first goal for the club, every player almost came to congratulate him. Team mates don't do that to team mates they don't like. Even at AFL training the players were really vocal around him according to Ceasar at PRE. So maybe he's not the annoying person you think.

He is not fully responsible, every young player has weaknesses, that is why they either take a while to get a game, or they get dropped to work on weaknesses. It seems to have taken longer for Cumberland than most because to me he is not a naturally smart footballer, but one with great athletic traits and goes helta skelta most times. There have been a few of them over the years and why not be patient with them. He's played 5 games in the season, and you want him gone, even though Morris stated if he had kicked straight he was BOG.

Yeah he’s frustrating, at times selfish, lacks defensive pressure can sook it up, but his goal kicking ability is something we really need. We are struggling to kick 10 goals in a game , has to be room for someone with his skill set
just maybe he’s turning the corner and getting back to that late 22 form.

Steve M VFL report.

Noah Cumberland (14 disposals, seven contested possessions, six marks, four inside-50s, six tackles, one goal)

“Noah could have absolutely torn the game to shreds. He had seven shots on goal and pleasingly had a game-high six tackles. If he can make more of his opportunities in front of goals, he is clearly the best player on the ground.”

I think why he is getting so much love from his team-mates is because of the changes they can see he has made to his game. Changes we first noticed in the earlier games this season when he was struggling to have any offensive impact after so much defensive exertion. So he might indeed be getting close to AFL ready, but nothing to do with his stunning offensive work in 2022, more to do with now getting what he needs to do to be part of the team.

I would’ve taken NIWL stunning offensive work of 22 than any of the forward( whether offensive or defensive )work Campbell and Mansell have dished up over the last month. Not being a smart arse, but try and be a little bit open minded and realistic in your comparisons.
