These guys can’t go one on one with monster midfielders (probably why crouch gets a game even though he is more of a plodder than Priddis). Dawson is about the only one you could hang your hat on, but he isn’t a BBIM.

It’s as though they went tldown Richmond route in drafting nippy smalls but that isn’t for everyone and they lack a Martin type who would be the troubleshooter everytime things aren’t going well.

rachele and rankine are more of your chop out types in midfield, not main engine room. Could have had some use of a top 4 pick this year and draft a proper mid!

Rankine's a gun, not a coincidence Crows best footy all year was the month or so before his injury when he started playing more mid time.
