I can't recall how long it was before the truckload of chicken sh*t was dumped on Richmond's door step and that clubs return to success, but I'm assuming it must have had some part in the process.

As unfortunate as it could be for the club from a public image point of view it's way past time for koch, davies, richardson and hinkley to be exposed and humiliated for what they are, particularly koch as I suspect his ego would really struggle to cope with any form of public humiliation.

The club desperately needs a coup, none of the aforementioned campaigners will gladly give up their cushy roles, and as much as Stickerman can be admired for his lone effort unfortunately one throw at the stumps was never going to get the desired result, it needs to be continuously applied non stop pressure.

The club was coming off 17 wins and a top-4 finish, having just traded 2 more years of draft picks for a readymade ruck division and a pair of key defenders.

If “8-4” is supposed to be surprise overachievement versus expectation, why are we happily mortgaging our future for mediocrity?

I’m reminded of FishingRick04 ‘s experience of Matthew Richardson when the 2018 team was sitting at 11-4, having previously relayed our concerns that the way the team was playing was a false economy.

That guy got promoted.

The entire football world would have had us 8-4 if not better, given the extremely generous draw Port have had and the fact we’ve had eight games at AO already.

And just like the Chairman’s B&F speech last year, why are we seemingly benchmarking ourselves against what outside voices are saying?

Jesus wept.

All but two of these "experts" tipped us to make the eight and a couple tipped us as top 4. So being 8-4 at the half way mark of the season given who we've played would be expected. Only someone living in the Alberton bubble could come out with a statement like that.
