That I will agree with. No way he should've come back on.The other thing re the Petracca injury is how on earth he was let back on the field. If it was a head injury, everyone would be going crazy. This is just as bad if not worse. They surely should have known he likely had cracked if not broken rib(s) and the risk of puncturing a lung (which seems had already happened) is potentially life threatening. AFL should come out and fine Melb heavily.

I think it can be pretty dangerous. Rib splinters can be very sharp and puncture lungs or spleens.I’m not sure I get the big deal being made of this, it’s pretty common for a player to return for a bit after a serious injury (although not soft tissue injuries) to see if they can push through it. Cracked ribs would hurt like **** and it’s no surprise he wasn’t out there long, but it’s not the same as risking turning a 1 week hamstring into a 6 week hamstring

Class player who is strong as a bull and fair as they come. Great role model for kidsLove watching Trac strut his stuff. Spewing for him.
too much bravado and arrogance for me.Class player who is strong as a bull and fair as they come. Great role model for kids
I thought the same until he started appearing on 360. Hearing him weekly on that show he just seems a genuinely nice, humble guy compared to the on field alpha male.too much bravado and arrogance for me.
The injury is awful though.
I've done a lot of travelling and have come to the conclusion that absolutely nowhere on Earth has Tall Poppy Syndrome like Australia.too much bravado and arrogance for me.

Listen to the Big Shot Traveller here...I've done a lot of travelling and have come to the conclusion that absolutely nowhere on Earth has Tall Poppy Syndrome like Australia.
Agree, but doesn't apply here. I think he's a representation of a lot of Australian men.I've done a lot of travelling and have come to the conclusion that absolutely nowhere on Earth has Tall Poppy Syndrome like Australia.

I saw Chritian Petracca at a grocery store in Melbourne yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. How so? You're speaking as if you know the man.
Sounds all good and above board. If he did a burp without putting his hand over his mouth when dealing with the counter staff then my opinion may change.I saw Chritian Petracca at a grocery store in Melbourne yesterday. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
Based on what I've seen of his bravado on field, and attitude when speaking. How so? You're speaking as if you know the man.

I'm being facetious in that I clearly don't know him, hence the lower case in my original post on his character. I clearly don't know him.
I don't like what I HAVE seen, but that's all I have to go by.
I guess it also depends on your values and what you deem to be a good person. I've heard Toby is also prone to violence off field.Apparently Toby Greene is a ripping bloke off-field. Sometimes you really can't tell from TV.
