Also Brisbane are in the 8 now too...Everyone keeps saying we haven’t beaten a top 8 team all year. FFS Melbourne were in 4th spot when we flogged them in Alice.

Agreed. Loved the comments “this is not in slow-mo” re Darcy… he’s so bloody big he’s deceptiveI didn't think the commentary was bias much at all. Maybe I'm still hearing them go absolutely bananas for Darcy multiple times.
Paps said it twice on the call and was wrong both times. He should really be pointing out how we were losing the free kick count 17-9 instead of crickets.Everyone keeps saying we haven’t beaten a top 8 team all year. FFS Melbourne were in 4th spot when we flogged them in Alice.

Plus the one in the last that wasn’t paid that resulted in a goal.Paps said it twice on the call and was wrong both times. He should really be pointing out how we were losing the free kick count 17-9 instead of crickets.
Yep, the umpires thought the new interpretation only applied to Freo players.Plus the one in the last that wasn’t paid that resulted in a goal.
Swans player middle, cooked twice, drops the ball. Play on.
There were a few like that each way throughout, but that one was so obvious even the commentators called it out.
Don't worry, at least you get to listen to Kane waffle on tonight about how the one good game doesn't mean anything, and that us having both Darcy and Jackson is still one of the all time bad list management decision
Just me waiting for first crack to hear how we didn't beat Sydney, Sydney best themselves and that we play slow boring footy.
No current season stats available
but we do look good and this is the part of the season where you want to be going in a positive directionIt’s a dumb metric at this point in the season, especially when the ladder is so bunched up.
I agree Freogirl. There are still too many empty seats in our Cheer squad and too few people in the Cheer squad not doing the Docker chants. I know this as my partner and I are part of the Optus Cheer squad which looks anaemic on TV compared to the size of the Cheer squads of other clubs. We need more flags and banners as well, but unfortunately not enough people in the Cheer Squad are prepared to raise and wave the ones we’ve already got.'It's the best one I've been a part of' | Luke Ryan
Hear from Ryan in the rooms post-match talk through those last few minutes in our big win over the Swanswww.fremantlefc.com.au
I wish the cheer squad at Optus was louder
We should be grateful a outstanding win wasn't ruined by listening to Kelli Underwood.Garry Lyon is a disgrace, what a disgustingly biased commentator.
Maybe you could start a thread and explain what it is like being a member of the squad? I am sure some would love the opportunity to become involved and share their ideas. I did wonder if some were just attracted to getting really good seats on the cheap.I agree Freogirl. The club needs to do a Promo of the benefits (and there are many) of being in the Cheer Squad to get more bums on seats, but they need to be people who are prepared to Cheer and wave the flags and banners provided by the club. It isn’t just about getting really good seats on the cheap!
Sometimes the Cheer Squads of opposition Clubs at Optus have looked and sounded more animated than ours, and that sends a very poor message for our Club.
I feel like we are letting our Club down.
You’re certainly not letting anyone down. I agree the club should offer some real incentives to join the squad. Keep it up.I agree Freogirl. The Cheer squad at Optus is ****ing shit. Always trying to start chants no one likes or knows. If anyone else gets an organic chant going they try to replace it with their own chant instead of piggybacking on and making it loud. They get quiet and have no initiative to start chanting or cheering unless a goal is scored. It's always a group of guys in the back of that block that get loud and get the crowd around them involved because the actual cheersquad is completely uselss at it.I agree Freogirl. These are best ones though. Montagna comes on with a massive shit eating grin coz he loves us and David King fumbles around with some rubbish and you can see Leigh focusing on his papers in front of him so he doesnt give away he knows hes a twat. Very entertainingCan some brave souls report what the usual suspects say? I don’t watch any football shows, they hurt my brain.
Going to have to ask my boss to push back EOFY a weekGoing to be a lean work week. Plenty of media to absorb.
