Look, it was still a disaster losing to them, potentially difference between making finals and not. But they’re a decent side actuallyyou could see them improving every week
The Poo and Wee jumper wearers are a very good young side and we should have beat them on their home deck. Opportunity lost last week but proves we’re still up and about… plus we beat Sydney ️ we right!Look, it was still a disaster losing to them, potentially difference between making finals and not. But they’re a decent side actually
So?Macrae asked him to move on because he went to the horse races the night before the Grand Final. Otherwise Schultz wouldve gone somewhere like Carlton with no small fwd depth.
hopefully none of their semi finals will be in LauncestonLook, it was still a disaster losing to them, potentially difference between making finals and not. But they’re a decent side actually
they did what WCE should have doneThe fact Hawthorn pushed JOM and Mitchell out and still be competitive is amazing.
Wonder who’s the suckers for taking JOM, huh…
Doesn't work that way. They were going full rebuild and we needed some experience (from a guy coming home). The fact Hawthorn pushed JOM and Mitchell out and still be competitive is amazing.

That was the story anyway but it's likely Schultz was a done deal before then. So?
He was public about that. To calm the nerves?
He’s 22 ffs.
Coming from Macrae who kept De Goey around after being jailed in USA and told to not go to Bali.
Ginnivan was a life long Hawks supporter so as soon they showed interest it was a done deal I reckon.Did Fremantle ever inquired about Ginnivan? Would’ve love to have included in the Schulz trade
Yeah, nah. What experience? We had experience in Mundy.Doesn't work that way. They were going full rebuild and we needed some experience (from a guy coming home).
He will be sleeping in a racing car bed tonight after that effort.Moore looks like he is thinking about how cool he looked in his cowboy suit
How is it a disaster just going down to the form team in the comp in Tassie? It would be as hard a game to win as Sydney at SCG right nowLook, it was still a disaster losing to them, potentially difference between making finals and not. But they’re a decent side actually
Mundy had retired by the time we got JOMYeah, nah. What experience? We had experience in Mundy.
Mundy had just retired..Yeah, nah. What experience? We had experience in Mundy.
It's far, far easier to rebuild as a Victorian team.Hawks coming good so quick is the perfect example of why a midseason trade period would be the worst possible thing for Non-Victorian teams.
They've brought in the following (not including late pick swaps)
Meek - O'Meara and received a 2nd round pick
Ginnivan - 2nd round pick
Scrimshaw - 3rd round pick
Chol - 2nd round pick
Amon - Free Agent
Frost - 2nd round pick
Gunston - Brandon Ryan and received a 2nd round pick
D'Ambrosio - 3rd/4th round picks
Impey - 2nd/3rd round picks
And if you believe rumours they'll likely pick up Battle as a free agent +/- Bailey Smith via trade this offseason.
I'd hazard a guess that just about 1-2 of the above players would've even considered a trade to a WA team. And about half of them would've been traded mid season should that have been an option.
