Couldn’t be prouder of the boys, that was an unreal performance from start to finish. Completely out worked and out pressured them.

Buku and Lobb were outstanding down back, Treloar is a man possessed this season.
How great would it be for all the love he had/has for his former club, for it to be our club he wins an all Australian selection with.

What a game! I loved what I saw from basically everyone out there, just domination at the contest, defence was at its intercepting best and the synergy between the forwards was incredible.

Lids almost off. Will be a great test next week

WTF was with the ground?

Thought i was watching 1970’s archival footage for a bit tonight.
Not quite Moorabbin bad but not too far off. The wife was shocked at the state of the ground she has never seen a ground in that bad a condition. She has only started watching footy since we got married

Geez dare to dream. Why, 3 points;

1) Lobb down back marks everything, even in a cow paddock
2) Cody is the best small forward in it
3) Richards defensive minded midfield approach has transformed us in Centre bounce. No more 5 goal run ons.

Just cannot leave it there without mentioning English really competing hard the past few weeks. The 18 year old down back who is so composed and Buku coming back in and just owning CHB.

Drinking a very fine red tonight.

Bevo has his critics but you can't tell me that Lobb and Khamis don't play the game that they do if they didn't have confidence to play the game they did because of Bevo's "support, defend and back in the players" emotional intelligence way of builiding relationships and coaching the game. And for those two to back in Bevo after their season where they might be frustrated and let their footy do the talking.

Both would have been either nervous wrecks or just pissed off the back of their seasons so far under other coaches, but instead, they get this game, and the support of the teammates and fans. I may rub a few people the wrong way in this board but by god I love this club.

Think replacing Smith with Pratt has been a significant move. It is so so different from what we were seeing down there the last two seasons. It’s still vulnerable because we’re lacking in actual lockdown defenders (and press so high) but we can’t ask for much more given the personnel available.

Really dominant performance. Kick those simple goals and the gap would have been significantly bigger.

Fantastic to see Buku genuinely develop more strings to his bow, last 2 weeks has been a genuinely best 22 hope it continues.

Hope English does sign the 5 year deal in front of him.

Sanders put in a solid performance, with Darcy included the trade is definitely 50/50.

Bramble is a best 22 player replacement for JJ.

There were no obvious outs from this game, one of the more even contributions for a while.

As I have been saying all year we are not that far away, just need more games into 9 to 10 players and resign all key players out of contract,.we only have 2 to go.

Never thought it was finals or bust with significant off field on field changes, only significant improvement on last season.

We.make finals.we will be a.danger, if not keep this development up and we could become the standout team in the competition

The best move is what i mentioned at the start of the year, the fitness coach we got from the Giants

Can't argue with that win, and 2 in a row at Kardinia Park at that.

Is Caleb Daniel injured/unavailable or just not selected?

He’s in the VFL at the moment. Still has sublime skills but right now his lack of pace and physicality is keeping him out.

Just not in the best 23 atm

Thanks - as a fellow shorty I like to keep tabs on him.

Speaking of which, Mannagh not too bad tonight for us, albeit a little fumbly whereas your mob were sublime below the knees all night.

At what point do the global powers that be (whoever they are) start to consider the impact of Lobb shutting down anyone he wants.

Charlie C and Ben King should be praying to whatever god they pray to that they don’t have to face him. Unfortunately for Hogan he has to face the gauntlet one more time at least….
