I’m confident he will still be on the list next year
heads the list of delisted players.

He debuted when Dusty had his long injury. Combo marked well and is a long kick. Good Fritsch like IMO. But a fwd line with 3 smalls plus Martin, Graham Cumbo lost his spot in 23.

In 2025, the absence of Martin, Graham, Baker & Bolton, they'll select mids like Taranto & Hopper to play half fwd. Prestia is not a goal kicker.

Well Couthard surely heads the list.

We could have up to 10 departures not including Cumberland. We have 3 coming back from knee reco's who will not be available maybe until half year or so. We have some very injury prone others.

We will not bring in more than 10 draftee's or older players. Makes no sense to get rid of both Cumberland and Dow who most would like to see gone. They might deserve the chop, but they might stay on as insurance and a bit of maybe they will turn it around a bit, you never knew. Miller was on the list for years before he was either chopped or made the most of his opportunities. He did the latter, but he was insurance and it was a good thing we kept him.

One sided? innaresting criticism
not ambidextrous. FMD Kmac can't hit the side of a barn on his preferred. MRJ rubbish kick for goal on his preferered. Nank has no right side.

Short & Sonsie kick on both. Broad handballs left handed.
We got 3 left footers in the club.
2 when Cumbo gets delisted. Shame he's not quite up to the level.
I look at the Dogs who have a lot of left footers. Dees too maybe... And think of Aust cricket team who's strategy is to have a big mix of left and right handed players.
Many left footers in draft?
Just being left handed doesn't mean you are any good.

Never understood the association with being left footed and being a good kick or being anything special at all really. What does it matter what your preferred foot is? You're going to adapt and look to use it when you can.

It's a myth, just like the hyperbaric chamber

Is that you, Cumbo or are you a relation? It seems all you ever post is defense of cumberland, to the point you even posted on the collingwood board when one of their posters mentioned a tigers supporting relo detested Cumbo...

He played with a mates kid , up in Qld. Apparently was a decent guy, started doing a trade while other kids his age were still at school which is why he was absent from junior rep teams

My theory is that the majority of players tend to practice against right footers so when they are defending they naturally tend to focus on that side of the body more when looking for cues of when they are going to kick and just feel more comfortable playing against right footers

Because we have less lefty’s in the game that small advantage can make a difference at times when a left footer can kick out of a contest or whatever when the players defending against them are focused on looking for cues from the right side or players moving into a position for a snap and wheeling around to favour a right footed kick and probably set themselves up to guard the right side more out of habit

Of course it’s only a small “advantage” but at the professional level small advantages can make a big difference
