Be interesting to see where Tauru goes if North doesn't take him. Saints maybe? Maybe we want him at 6?

It's only a moot point until North use pick 2 at the draft. You should know by now that things can change quickly in this space. It's all a mute point now as it seems that we're sticking with what we've got and taking the 8 picks inside 25 to the draft.
They need 6 though and we want to keep 6. I don't see him getting to 10.North need to move Pick 2.
Everyone knows they want Tauru, and everyone also knows Pick 2 for Tauru is a crazy reach given what is on the board.
Reckon Blair is in no rush, he knows North best deal is with us, North will want the world but will settle for the lamp post as we near Draft Night.
There's only 10 players there brooooo. Add Allan as it seems clear we are keen according to Cal.As it stands we're walking away with 4 of
FOS
Jagga
Lalor
Draper
Langford
Smillie
Reid
Travaglia
Armstrong
Tauru
It's a can't lose situation
That's what I thought but the longer it drags on the more desperate Norf will get.Feels like fantasy type of stuff
Here we go - We give St Kilda Drafts Picks 11 18 20 23 in exchange for picks 7 and 8 therefore we have Picks 1 6 7 8 and 10 (Idea was taken off a Richmond Supporter on Facebook !) That will then leave us to pick up Sam Davidson and Ash Johnson !It's all a mute point now as it seems that we're sticking with what we've got and taking the 8 picks inside 25 to the draft.
Am I correct, if we trade one of our picks for a Future 1 we will have one spot for first pick in pre-season draft.?The article says we'll only have 7 spots after signing Dow which is incorrect. We have 27 senior listed and can have a minimum of 36 so we have 9 spots available at present and with the need to upgrade a rookie to meet the requirement to have maximum 6 Cat a rookies that will leave us with 8 open spots regardless
Both clubs. Fleece the bombers drySo we end up with both clubs f 1st for this years P 11 ?
Or just
Melbournes or Essendons?
If it’s the latter, I wouldn’t do it, the former would take some crafty dealing from Blair.
Swap for Reid when he wants to leaveThis might just be me, but I'd prefer if we didn't take Bo Allan due to the go home factor. Taking WA players worked out for us in a way this time around but the last thing I want is when we are ready to challenge again, he gets homesick.
Was going off the top 10 in the list TOO posted excluding Ashcroft. Happy to have Allan in the mix as well. There's only 10 players there brooooo. Add Allan as it seems clear we are keen according to Cal.
Lalor, Smillie, Allan, Armstrong I reckon is where Cal will have it if he did a Phantom now.
Thats up there with Essendon fans thinking Gold Coast might trade one of their future 1sts for two picks in the late 20's & early 30's.Here we go - We give St Kilda Drafts Picks 11 18 20 23 in exchange for picks 7 and 8 therefore we have Picks 1 6 7 8 and 10 (Idea was taken off a Richmond Supporter on Facebook !)
It's a good list and think we should just take 4 of them. Replace the 4 that bailed. Was going off the top 10 in the list TOO posted excluding Ashcroft. Happy to have Allan in the mix as well.
They need 6 though and we want to keep 6. I don't see him getting to 10.
Think they trade F1 for best they can get and take best available tall at that pick.
Don't think Dees trade 9 given they gave an F1 for it. We won't with 10 & 11 it seems. Eagles already have 2 x 1sts next year, Port wanted a pick this year not next, Freo already traded 2 picks this year so Cal thinks they keep 14, then you get to GWS x 2, although they have a few best 22 players to replace, then you're at Dogs & us again.
According to Cal Eagles, Bombers, Suns, Saints are also trying to trade back in with F1's. The one thing going for North is that their pick should be the most desirable (assuming Eagles would be using the Hawks pick)
It's far less of a concern for non-indigenous players though. They'd know by now if he's likely to be a flight risk or not in the future. This might just be me, but I'd prefer if we didn't take Bo Allan due to the go home factor. Taking WA players worked out for us in a way this time around but the last thing I want is when we are ready to challenge again, he gets homesick.
Craft of the Draft Top 10 Mock Draft
1 Sam Lalor - Richmond
2 Alix Tauru - North
3 Levi Ashcroft - Bribane
4 Finn O'Sullivan - Carlton
5 Sid Draper - Adelaide
6 Leo Lombard - Gold Coast
7 Josh Smillie - Melbourne
8 Jagga Smith - Richmond
9 Murphy Reid - StKilda
10 Harvey Langford - StKilda
11 Jobe Shanahan - Melbourne
12 Luke Trainor - Richmond
13 Tobie Travaglia - Richmond
I doubt that very much, won't get past GWS picks at 15/16Luke Trainor at 12? He's going to be lucky to have his name read out in the first day.

If we pick Allan over Hotton I will throw up
Looking at the rankings and the needs of the teams - Melbourne should be right into trading up to pick 2 with nth. The way it stands - pick 5 will be either Lalor or Smillie - 2 players that they prob arent targeting. They'd be wanting a pure mid like FOS, jagga, langford, draper who will prob all be gone by pick 5.
If melb did trade up to 2 and north have 5 - it would likely go ....
Rich - Jagga
Melb - FOS
Carl - Draper
Adel - Langford
Melb - Tauru
Rich - choice of Lalor or Smillie
