Cal Twomey says he's not as sold as some on a pick 2 deal happening.

Says it'll be hard for North to do a pick 2 deal with anyone else but Richmond, although they have tried.
but norf board said rfc is desperate for pick 2

Its a weird one. Have we ever seen a team with such an early pick, so desperate to trade it?

Norf cant afford to give it away and we cant afford to over pay. Its a shit sandwhich this deal.

the deal will be on our terms if it gets done if not it wont get done simple and BAD LUCK

It was never offered to begin with.

North need to move Pick 2.

Everyone knows they want Tauru, and everyone also knows Pick 2 for Tauru is a crazy reach given what is on the board.

Reckon Blair is in no rush, he knows North best deal is with us, North will want the world but will settle for the lamp post as we near Draft Night.

Please dont think l'm trying to attack you or troll you... its not my intention. I just find you theory completely wrong and has holes everywhere in it.

"If it pays off, we get 5 picks inside the top 10"

You do know that - without ANY "IF's" - we currently have 5 picks in the top 11 over the next 2 drafts. 1, 6, 10, 11 and F1. So whilst you're throwing away the known, purely for the unknown - both in terms of quality of draft and selections.

I read an article from someone the other day, saying that 14 clubs had the potential to make finals, 8 to win the flag if everything goes their way. We will get F1's from those 18-24 picks... so there is every chance that we collect another 2 F1's (and if the cards fall our way, injuries, form, implosions etc... those 2xF1s might end up being top 10 selections next year.
It's all a mute point now as it seems that we're sticking with what we've got and taking the 8 picks inside 25 to the draft.

Norf can't afford not to trade it. They'll get two picks in the first round as opposed to one. Their alternative is to trade their F1, but they'll be lucky to get a top-20 pick for it. Even if they do the best they possibly can and get GWS' pick 16, that's 2 and 16, and no F1. How is that better for them than 10 and 18, and keeping their F1? They'll still get Armstrong or Tauru at 10, and there are plentiful options to go tall or small at 18.

Tauru will be gone by 10, hence why I believe 6 needs to be part of the deal if we want 2.

In saying that, we hold the leverage, which increases as we get closer to draft night.
