194cm before year 12 is very tall for a mid. Interesting to see how he develops.
Yep. He'll likely be top 10 and not at our two 2nd rounders. And I doubt we'd pick another midfielder, but he may keep growing taller, so we'll see what happens. Just thought it was funny they were all mids given the too many mids narrative.

Lol. Immediately looks up Rookie Me Central on these players. All midfielders. What?

Thomas Burton - 178cm Western Jets midfielder
Riley Only - 194cm midfielder. Murray bushies. Twomey has him in his top 10 to watch.
Marcus Cassidy - 186cm midfielder. East Perth.
Matthew Becker - 188cm. Peel Thunder
Judd Marcello - 188cm. West Perth
Marcus Cassidy = the Butch

Marcus Cassidy = the Hopalong

As mentioned before , I hope the recruiting guys in here keep an eye out for my nephew Ricky Theodoropoulos.
Played a number of games for Sandy Dragons this year as a bottom ager.
Wasn’t prolific, I feel he was wasted as a forward pocket, I hope he plays the majority of games in the midfield next season.
Whilst he has the physical dimensions of Caleb Daniel, I believe he is very draftable.

Good luck to him Uber Roo - I wouldn't be too disheartened about the forward pocket in an underage year, IMO it's not uncommon for teams to give more mid / game time to those in their draft year (which is fair enough).

I'll keep an eye out for him. The last name gets bonus ranking points.

Feel like a lot less Devil Fish talent overall in next year's crop.

The ultimate draft strength indicator!

I made an effort to take note of him after you mentioned him the other year Uber. I reckon the kid has plenty of talent, he is balanced, strong over the ball, a good decision maker and has plenty of courage. No easy feat to get games as an under ager at the stacked Sandringham side so that in itself is an awesome effort.

The game against the stingrays later this year when he got up the ground more was really impressive. Kicked 3 and had another 7 inside 50’s playing as a high half forward/mid.

Thanks for that wonderful endorsement mate, I’ll be sure to show his folks

roos_fanatic08 or Sphynx you guys across a kid eligible 2027 - Tate Hodgson? Sounds like he got Vic Metro bottom age games as a 15yo.

As luck would have it might have another (after Cooper D-T) 3rd degree ITK draft iron in the fire.

He is a beauty mate! 193cm (is it just me or kids getting taller these days?!) smooth moving defender that uses the ball beautifully.

Has a stack of composure and looks real effortless when he floats in for marks.

Early days but he has a stack of upside.

Good luck to him mate, definitely keeping an eye on him now 👍
Yes good luck to him if he has the following
1:Goal kicking ability from any part of the ground including long bombs.
2:The skill set of Keith Grieig.
3:The speed of the Road Runner .
4:The Ability the set up team mates from any position on the ground when required.
5:The strengh of an OX.
Then he might be a player to draft 2nd,3rd or 4th round considering we haven’t got a 1st pick any more.
Then by some miracle your newphew gets thru to one of the above picks and we select him then let him be Sheezel Shadow for his 1st pre season.
But be careful we have a guy called Rawlings at our club making these decisions.

Will be interesting to see how young Aidan McCartney goes next year as an under ager, being his draft year is 2026, Sydney Swans Academy, but being Jason's son, if he wants to, he can come to us as a father/ son, wouldn't that be a nice change? 🧐
