Perspective is a wonderful thing.
I haven’t read all of this interaction, just noticed this snippet.
At the time, the AFL endeavoured to pressure both Carlton and several players to “roll over”. Different parties with different needs, priorities and family circumstances reacted differently...
No idea where this should go.
Mods, please move as needed.
This can’t be good for us in the current environment…

Totally agree.
I’m not advocating for Voss to be sacked, but I am advocating for the club to at a minimum enter the modern world and provide the correct structure and support around the senior coach AND demand excellence in all that it does. Time to step up Brian Cook and stamp your mark.
Drums are beating. Lots of disharmony at senior levels.
It’s rarely, if ever, only the senior coach‘s fault, however, it is always the senior coach who cops it.
Rather than simply exiting Voss, the club needs to ask did it ever set him up for success? (Refer to assistant coaches and off...
We gave up multiple goals due to basic skill errors & mistakes.
Forward setup & work rate is terrible. Small forwards are next to useless, constantly sagging back towards goal to be out the back of contests leaving nobody leading at the ball carrier for a hit up outside 50m. I have no doubt...
The forward setup, structure and work rate is rubbish. Until this is addressed we aren’t going anywhere.
Whilst there are deficiencies in many areas, until the forward structure and work rate is addressed we will struggle.
Hi Lily
Totally agree.
* did background checks, both soft and in depth. They then failed to understand and/or act on the findings.
Any organisation offering $800k+++ p.a. to an employee is well aware of what’s happening in the broader world of commerce and especially at that level of...
Thoroughly embarrassing for *.
Year after year of total lack of governance, accountability and awareness of the real world, beyond The Hangar.
Incompetent, conflicted and totally dysfunctional organisation, how can this new board survive. Appears that they asked the work experience kid to...
Blues supporters should take the criticism with a grain of salt.
SOS knows why Stocker is no longer at Carlton, Stocker enjoyed dinner @ SOS’ home late last week. They are quite close.
SOS was dropped.
He knows it, has been spoken with and is pissed. He will be the sub this week.
Reality is, good teams have good players playing in the 2’s and playing for spots.
Rightly he has the club’s support at the moment. He needs to make sure he doesn’t make them look like fools by it coming out that he’s lied to them as to when one of the incidents occurred.
Nervous week ahead for him.
AOD - 9604.
No positive test? Indeed.
Sheeds. Happy 150th.
Really, please keep pushing. Let’s dance.
When the music stops not everyone will have a chair. James.
Hey Thy,
The fix was in quite early on this one from both Head Office and all that feed off the industry.
No-one was to blame, no-one was in the wrong, there was so much confusion and blurred rules, how could “golden boy” ever have crossed the line, he’s a good guy. It was a total and...
2 weeks in and Sayers is learning what it means to be the chairman in a voluntary role. He is used to wielding power as a chairman in business - in those circumstances his colleagues have no choice and must fall in line.
As a new Blues president he has less actual power - colleagues leak...
