I heard John Barnes tell stories about the man, similar to above that he just did skills at training then when the other guys went running he would just go and have shots at goal. Leading him to perfect the 'inverse' or 'inside out' barrell and also kicking left foot barrels from the boundary...
Seems like the fad of coaching techniques this season is all about pressure, inturn forcing turnovers and kicking goals on the rebound as the forwards get a chance one out.
The two best teams of the year have a great ability to put pressure on, but also don't turn the ball over nearly as much...
I am still wondering why the guy ran onto the field when no-one came off? First game is no excuse, everyone knows you can't go on unless someone comes off.
Excellent interview with Woosha last night, straight down the line told it as he sees it, no bull****. Particularly liked his description of the Chick/Embley 'organised sparring session', without gloves :D
