    Past #2: Jaidyn Stephenson - retires from AFL after 122gms (54 CFC/68 NM) & 130gls (76 CFC/56 NM) - '18 RS - NM will pay out contract - go well Sleevo

Do yourself a favour and find out the reasons he was sent packing to North. There were quite a few reasons and Jaidyn knows exactly what they are but you won't hear them from Stephenson and the club don't want to make them public to protect him. And that is apart from his woeful form. Three...

    Society/Culture Will the people rise?

As much as we are not liking the lockdown, it has to be done. We should be grateful we are not living under Donald Trump's leadership. Having basically ignored the warnings for nearly 2 months as a hoax and just a flu that would go away when the weather warms up, he is now blaming World Health...

    afl vs players pay dispute

If you sign up for a contract with Foxtel, why should Jack or Max pay for it. You have a contract and have to keep paying Foxtel. Foxtel will insist on it. Jack and Max have contracts too where Richmond and Melbourne have to keep paying them if they insisted on it. A 50% cut until May and...

    afl vs players pay dispute

Chris Scott has been on HUGE money since 2001. Regardless of what happens, he is set up for life. While it was generous of him to forfeit his salary for the year, he can afford to go without his salary. Most of the players are still in the process of setting themselves up. Some will make it and...

Richmond set to poach Darcy Moore (says Tom Browne)

There was no mention from the media about Darcy Moore going to Richmond until Brodie Grundy signed his contract and they ran out of "news". They have to have something to write about Collingwood or they don't sell papers. So they invent rubbish like Richmond poaching Moore. It is not going to...

Richmond set to poach Darcy Moore (says Tom Browne)

Punt Road Oval is in the suburb of East Melbourne. The suburb is a small area of inner Melbourne, located between Richmond and the Melbourne Central Business District. It is bounded by Spring Street, Victoria Parade, Punt Road/Hoddle Street and Brunton Avenue. And that is official.

Richmond set to poach Darcy Moore (says Tom Browne)

There is absolutely no chance of Moore going to Richmond or anywhere else. Tell 'em they're dreaming.

Richmond set to poach Darcy Moore (says Tom Browne)

There are 17 clubs who would jump at the chance to have Eddie as their president.

    Training Apples' Training Threads 2018/19

Thanks for the excellent report. You mentioned Flynn Appleby "seemed a way off". Interesting. Just wondering if he had a problem as he has been training the house down in Melbourne. So far I have him on the bench for Rd 1. As for De Goey, I am wondering if they are looking after his shin problem...

    Training Apples' Training Threads 2018/19

I don't know why you people are saying he is not fit. Elliott looks in terrific condition. I think he spent a fair bit of time in the gym during the season and the off season.

    Apples' Training Reports

Totally agree with your thoughts on Mark Keane. He has very good skills already and he looks very strong physically. In the couple of short practice games at training yesterday he looked quite comfortable with reading and understanding the game. If he sticks with us, I think we have another very...

    Training Pre-season 2018

I didn't go to training on Wednesday, but did go on Monday. Brayden Sier trained the whole session, including the match simulation. He did quite well in the match, but he needs a continuity of game time to get him up to speed. From what I have seen of him in VFL, he has a great build for a...

    Apples' Training Reports

I still think Mason Cox's pack mark problem is he takes his eyes off the ball when it gets within a metre of him. He seems too concerned with where he is going to land rather than watch the ball right into his hands. But I thought he was getting better at it at training this year.
