There is a risk no matter who you pick.
Jagger- one paced, small, we have a few like him.
Draper- doesn’t have hurt factor, hardly ever shoots at goal no matter the standard
Langford- slow, slow, slow.
Lalor- injuries as well.
Trainor- concussions
He is that far ahead of Will Phillips in every single aspect than is imaginable. Phillips is a small, sluggish inside mid, and that’s all.
Athletically FOS is elite… he is playing a different game to Phillips.
His senior year was not putrid at all, his 3 school games were really good...
But FOS is so much more than just another midfielder, he is Heeney… game changing ability. Competitiveness off the charts, tough… a team lifter.
Can be a fwd, a back, a wingman, or an inside ball winner. Wherever we need a winner, we have one.
If we stay at 2, FOS has to be the pick (if the tigs don’t take him of course). Exactly what we need. Class, speed, skilled, excitement, movement, makes people miss, goal kicking ability from any position.
Look no doubt I have a bias towards Fordy…. But delisting him is surely crazy talk! I assume the Chad has his mind distracted by his all time irrelevant Commanders about to blow another draft by reaching for a shit QB.
Ed would be snapped up as a DFA quicker than it takes for the Chad to roll...
Hang on… you want to delist Ford… but offer the following..
Harvey 1 year
Lazzaro 2 years
Drury a rookie deal
Pink 1 year
Phillips 1 year
Sellers 1 year
Dawson 4 years ????
Archer 2 years
Free 2 years
Maley 2 years
Ummmmm, are you drunk? Or just the worst talent evaluator that ever evaluated...
I have seen him play, live once against Vic Metro, and full games multiple times on line.
Yep he is good, no doubt. But the Chad posting about him and then denying it is just too much.
