The issue with Macrae is 3 years at 'big' money. That 3rd year for a 30 year old over sized midfielder with limited run & spread is a risk. More risk in contract = less risk in price.

They each won 16 games and a final the year before their flag, Melbourne are nowhere near that type of form. 5 from the past 15 & a shit show.

Their B&F winner is 30, Gawn and May will be 33, 3rd in their B&F has departed, Oliver is a shit show, a lot of their depth is 29+ & they finished the season with 5 wins and 10 losses. I'm not buying that stock.
