We ain’t picking Taura at 2 mate. He ain’t rated as the no. 2 pick, and whilst improved this year, he has a long way to go. NMFC will pick the best rated talent at 2, which will be one of the top midlfielders. The only way we’d be picking Tauru, is by dropping down the order. However no club at...
Doesn’t sound like a worthy pick at 2 then. Given Murphy was what, pick 39 in his draft year? And some on this forum think we should take him at 2. What a waste of a pick
The knock on him at AFL level has always been when he has the ball and what he does with it, his decision making. He just doesn’t cut up opposition. Nice bloke, but VFL player at best.
Of course the swans showing a bit of bravado early on, Parker has still 1 year to run on his contract. So in that respect, they hold all the aces early on in the potential trade.
To be fair. The eagles have been crap for 4 years. So not surprising no big bags.
Put it another way, who and what were the bags of goals kicked by an eagles player over the last 4 years?
There are stats, and there are stats.
He plays like a powder puff. Not a contested player and goes missing if an opponent plays on him.
If u want a uncontested, unaccountable aloof half forward, he’s your man!
Clear our 1st pick is being shopped? By who? I have not heard that at all in any media or from club. Acquisition of experenced players towards end of careers to add experience and replace Shiels, yes. But that would only cost backed draft picks.
If this is being talked about, it is purely...
Cos the guy is 20yrold, done only one preseason, and played what 3 games? and most of em as a sub.
Reckon l’ll stick with Clarko and Co’s decision rather than the rabble of arm chair nutters on this forum.
Last chance saloon? Allegedly a great user of the ball, but we never got to see it?
Mate he’s in the first of a 4 year contract.
He wouldnt be the first player to move clubs and initially struggle a little to adjust to a new system.
He’ll be fine. A greater runner with good disposal.
Think I calculated the trades that year. We have up 6000draft points, but gained 6000. So overall it didn’t cost us. Plus JHF always wanted to go home…..
Same poster, same old lines. You really need to get some new ones.
You sound like kid shopping with his mom, squealing and crying cos you won’t get what you want.
Yawn……
This poster isn’t a NMFC member or supporter. He’s just a poster who supports another club but delights on posting on other clubs boards. Just ignore him. His message is the same week after week, dragging out the same boring lines. He has a deep seated hatred for NMFC. He is a low life, and if...
Same old posters on here with rolling out the same old dribble. He’s cooked! He’s lost it! He can’t coach! Blah blah blah. Talk about a bunch of miserable whinging supporters. Fact is, he’s about 20 games in coaching NMFC, a team under a serious rebuild and still learning a new game plan with...
Not sure what u are talking about GC, so pipe down junior. And if you are going to abuse my comment as wrong, I suggest you do your homework pal instead of shooting from the hip.
“…….an inside midfielder similar to West Coast’s Jack Redden, Warner is hard working, thrives on the contested side...
Interesting comments.
But Chad Warner wasn’t even rated in his draft (pick 39). I think one of the expert opinions on him was he lacked explosiveness????
Now look at him!
Point being, too much analysis done on young talent which can end up way off the mark!
